The Tortilla Mission

I hold a tiny, black and brown puppy in my hand. It’s so small that it fits easily in my palm. The fragile little thing wears a harness, which has a leash latched to it.
I drop him accidentally, and try to lessen his fall by yanking on the leash. It does nothing, as the poor thing smacks onto the ground in Granny’s kitchen.
I quickly pick him up and see he’s smeared with blood, and his back right leg is broken- the bone jutting awkwardly. I pet him and feel so, so bad.
Then I’m checking out at Walmart. The checker lady is in a bad mood. She opens my a bag of my tortilla shells and looks at them with disdain. I’m not exactly sure what she’s looking at them for, but I don’t challenge her because I don’t want to make her mood even worse.
She rubs grease and purple/blue glitter all over my burrito shells. I take the shells from her and look at the wet mess in shock. Out of all the things I expected, that was not one of them. She breaks my thoughts away from the shell by telling me I need to hurry and find a clue under one of the bird statues nearby. She gives me the hint that the clue will be under “the most important bird”. She says if I find the clue in time, I’ll be able to buy new, clean shells.
I accept her challenge and run toward the large arching doorway separating the store and the checkers. I have to swerve and dodge past people to avoid running smack into them, but with my agility- I don’t touch a single person. I pass the bookshelves which have the bird statues on top of them, and deeper into the store where I need to get ink and a new package of shells. I end up going to far, and feel like I passed the ink section.
I run into Mocco. Mocco pushes his cart right on my heels to slow me down, because he wants to keep me around to talk to me. He doesn’t want me running off. I manage to push his cart past me just a bit and sneak between two middle-isle displays. It turns out I didn’t pass the ink section, as I happen upon it. I find the ink I need, and return to the bookshelves with bird taxidermy statues on top.
I stand on my tip-toes to see the bases of the statues, and see little slips of paper sticking out from under them. The ones on the first few shelves are numbered through eight. The second one I pick up has a scripture written on it, that starts with, “I believe and put my trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ…” I put the slip back, as none of these notes are the right one.
I look under one of the statues, which is of a butterfly rather than a bird, and the note underneath says something about butterflies being the most known flying creature. I figure this is the right note that I’m supposed to find, but I also grab the note under the statue of scissors just in case.
I start to run back through the threshold toward the checker area again, when I come to a halt. I remember that I have to go back and get another pack of shells first. I feel dumb for not remembering in the first place, beings they’re the whole reason I’m running all over the place, anyway. [End]

Relative to Real Life~
Day of June 26th, 2015
Real-life characters: Mocco (The Legend of Korra).
Dream-created characters: Puppy, checker, other shoppers.
Real-life places: Granny’s kitchen, Walmart (near ink section).
Dream-created places: Walmart (checker area, most of the store).
Different than real life: Walmart isn’t set up with the checkers this way, I’ve never had glitter rubbed on my tortillas.
Reasons:
Puppy = I new before this dream, that the day after I would be going to a puppy breeder to look at dogs for my Mom.
Reoccurring: No.
Precognitive: (6-30-15) While I knew that the day after this dream I would be looking at puppies, I didn’t know that some of them would be new-borns. One of these new-borns was the runt of the litter- a little tiny black and brown pup that fit in one hand. Exactly like this dream, sans the harness. I was to nervous to hold him out of fear I’d drop him and/or hurt him. I can’t help but wonder if I would have dropped the little guy had I not had this dream influencing me not to hold him.
