Argument with Dad, Carra Slap, The Princess Bride

Dad yells at me as we stand in his kitchen. We’re both filled with rage for the other. He venomously says that he won’t allow me to go on the boat trip with him, which I really couldn’t care about in the slightest. Then he says, “You need to pack your shit and leave.”
I glare at him before defiantly running out the back door, through the back yard, and all the way across the back field to where his boat is. There’s a secret hiding place on the boat that even Leon, who is chasing after me calling my name, doesn’t know about. I leap aboard the parked boat and squeeze into the seam of one of the coach-like seats, like a cat squeezing between the cushions of a sofa. I slip in and fall into the hidden, padded space underneath the seat. I can see out the cracks, which spill only a little light into my spot.
I just want to hide here until Dad is gone. I plan on waiting for Dad to start pulling away with the boat to jump out and stay behind.
I feel the boat start to move, and I peek out of the cushions. I can see that some of my Dad’s friends are still standing around the deck of the boat, but I don’t have time to wait for them to leave. I leap out of the spot and off the boat before Dad’s henchmen are able to stop me.
I go to class now, with Carra. Carra is viciously slapped by someone, right after the bell rings to dismiss us. I ask her if she’s okay as she hold her hand on her face. I make sure to tell her that she needs to put ice on it before her cheek swells and reddens. She agrees, and we walk out of the room.
I plan on going to the bathroom to retrieve the ice and a paper towel to wrap it in for her, but I end up walking into English class instead. The classroom is dark, because today we’re watching The Princess Bride on the small TV in the corner of the room. I immediately walk over to the cabinet, expecting to find ice for Carra. I realize that there isn’t ice in this cabinet, because instead of going to the restroom I went straight to class. Now that I’m here, it’s to late to go to the bathroom. I feel bad that I didn’t help my friend more.
I try to find a seat in the dark room. All of the desks have been moved from their rows into a mess around the room, as people have moved to sit closer to their friends during the movie. The only open seats that I can find are not ones I can/want to sit in. One is right next to Edgar, in the middle of his group of friends, and the other has Jennifar’s bag next to it even though she sits elsewhere. I finally find an unclaimed seat near the back and take it.
We all watch the movie, and suddenly I become Westley.
Me and Buttercup are hanging on a wall, trying to break into an abandoned mansion where we know thousands of gold coins are ripe for the taking. No one has ever dared scale the wall, nor break into the near-collapsing building. I make it inside first, and end up falling through the rotting floor into the basement [the basement of my current house, in the heater room]. The floor is lined with at least five inches of flood water that is trickling in from broken pipes above me. Up on an elevated platform sheet-rock and rubble, I see hand-fulls of gold coins. I pick a few up and look at them closer, seeing that some of them are foreign and others have images stamped on them in memoriam to certain events- such as the sinking of the Titanic. I start collecting them, and try to hide from Buttercup when she comes looking for me. [End]
