Living at My Uncle's

I live in my uncle’s basement, in a tall crib-like loft bed near the treadmill. My uncle comes down stairs just as I wake up, and tells me it’s time to come out to the garage and exercise. We need to get our work out done for the day.
I tell him I’ll be out in a minute, and start to gather up my notebooks that are scattered around the bed to get ready for mom to pick me up after me and my uncle are done working out. He heads back upstairs. I stuff all the books in my bag, and fold up Lily’s black-and-white plaid blanket and shove it in the bag as well. I jump out of the bed and head to the gated stairs. I open the gate and try to keep Lily and Skye downstairs, to much difficulty. I have to press on Lily’s back to keep her from going up the stairs any more than she is, and as I get her back into the basement, Aussie sneaks by me and joins the dogs downstairs. Me and Aussie look at each other for a second, and I decide to let him stay down there. I close the gate, and head upstairs.
In the kitchen, I greet my granny and aunt who stand near the oven, in the corner. They’re all dressed with their hair done and makeup, like they’re about to go out. I read the oven clock and see that it says 3:30 am. I ask them where they’re going, and they tell me that they’re going to go to the post office and try and figure out some issues they’ve been having with them. It seems like they’re ready to get into an awkward confrontation. I try to pull Lily’s blanket out of my bag, which turns into a grocery sack full of cookies in the bottom and an upside down pie on top. Trying to pull the blanket out from between the two without making a huge mess out of the mess already going on is impossible.
My uncle enters the room, and talks about how Granny just saved his life. He said she just came out of nowhere at the exact right time to cut a rope that was wrapped around his arm. The rope was hooked to a wench that would have pulled the rope so hard it would have ripped his arm off if she hadn’t come in and cut the rope with one swing of her knife.
I listen to the conversation but stay on the outside of it as I try and get the blanket out. Almost feels like I’m overhearing it.
He goes on to talk about an indian pendant that he is wearing and it’s meaning, and how ironic it was that it flew out of his shirt just as she got there. [End]

Real-life characters: Uncle, Lily and Skye (my dogs), Aussie (uncle’s dog), Aunt, Granny.
Dream-created characters: None.
Real-life places: Uncle’s house.
Dream-created places: None.
Different than real life: There’s no bed downstairs by the treadmill at my uncle’s, I don’t live/sleep at my uncle’s, Lily and Skye have never been to my uncle’s, me and my uncle don’t have an exercise regiment together.

Pie upside down in bag = My dad gave me some pumpkin pie that was hazardously packed into a box on a flimsy plate. It had the potential to get really messy, but thankfully it wasn’t a disaster.
Reoccurring: No.
