I’m on a highway with Mom, but instead of everyone being in vehicles, we’re all walking. The stress and regulations are the same as driving, however. I follow Mom into the turning lanes, but I miss all of the turns. I end up in the wrong lanes, people heading straight for me. I nearly get hit by a bus and runners.
From up above on a balcony that overlooks the highway, Pornstaches sees me and shouts at me to get back to the beginning of the highway and start again. He claims he’ll hold a shot of whiskey for me if I manage to get back.
I return to the entrance of the highway, and ask for another ticket into the city. The ticket seller gives me one for 99 cents, according to the receipt.
I give the “driving” another go, and this time I make the turn successfully. I’m not sure where Mom is, so I make my way to the nearest bar which happens to be where Pornstache works. I sit at one of the stools, and Pornstache is relentlessly flirty. I simply wanted something to drink, but he offers me oatmeal. I don’t refuse. He asks me what kind I want, and I tell him strawberries and cream.
He heats it up for me, and I eat at the bar. A boy playing on a handheld gaming console sits next to me in a a chair that is low to the ground. I keep a inconspicuous eye on him. When he stands and walks out the door to the right of the bar to the rooftop outside, I follow him.
Out on this rooftop I am able to see the entire town. It looks like a city in the middle of a desert, with mud/sand built buildings. A fence divides the roof. I try to crawl under it to get to the other side, but an old lady yells at me. I apparently knocked down her orange/pink solar hexagon plates out of the chain link of the fence. She explains that those solar panels are the only way to get heat at night here. She insists I help her put them back. I aid her, and somehow end up as part of their family.
There’s an initiation being held for this buff and bulky guy who wants to be part of the family. This new guy keeps trying to get the attention of this girl who walks around completely naked picking up odds and ends that could be useful, like bits of wire and cups without holes in them. She ignores him entirely, sort of lost in her own world.
His initiation involves him dangling off the edge of a skyscraper, then flying via parachute over to another building and sticking the landing. Once he does that, he’ll be accepted as one of us.
He’s terrified, and desperately doesn’t want to do it, but he manages to pull it off. He lands on the building, where the nude girl happens to be. She finally notices him, but now that she shows interest, it is him that shows no interest in her. [End]

Losing interest = I watched an artistic music video about a guy fantasizing about a girl, but as soon as she becomes real, he has no interest.
