Shelf Builder at Apocalypse Shelter

Me and my mom are in prison or some sort of apocalypse shelter. Our job is to make these annoying shelves- the type that I’ve had to assemble and disassemble more times than I can count. We can’t figure out how to cut the legs to the right length, so she raises her hand. I think she’s ridiculous. This isn’t like school, no one is going to come and help us like a teacher. We leave the workshop area and go to the checkout counter, like the one at the grocery store, and ask the cashier if he knows how to do it. He and an older male customer behind us, tell us- or me rather because I’m the only one out of us two that understands what they’re talking about- what to do.
Me and mom then go sit at the lunch tables to eat. I sit next to a cute boy, but he moves a seat away from me as soon as I sit down. I roll my eyes and shrug it off. He ends up passing me his iPod as a note. It has a really cute message to me on it about him being to shy to talk to me directly.
We start to be dismissed, so I rushedly try to type my email so he has a way to talk to me. I write “at gmail.com” instead of “@gmail.com” because I can’t find the dumb @ symbol amongst the buttons- some of which look like alien script.
Once I’m dismissed I go to the housing section of this bunker/prison, but can’t remember which of the identical open cell/apartments is me and mom’s. I have to go into each one and illuminate which are definitely not ours. The first has kid shampoo in the shower, so that’s not ours. Then another has movies that I haven’t seen in a dvd rack, so I know that’s not right.
Then Crowley comes to me and demands that I race in this elaborate water slide race. I always come in last place every time. I think I spot a shortcut, but I misjudge the launch and end up nearly missing the slide I soared through the air for. In the process I lost my golf ball, and if I don’t have my golf ball at the end- it doesn’t matter what place I’m in. No golf ball is an automatic disqualification. [End]
