I’m standing around the middle school after school hours. Police and firefighters are finding and rescuing people that are in craters in the concrete. There is a huge basement-like cavern under the street, so when the street caves in in these pot holes, it falls into this pitch black basement. If someone falls down in these holes they’re trapped.
I’m drawn to go behind the auditorium. I’m joined with two girls I know. Sure enough, a man in his late thirties is stuck down in one of these holes. He looks like a redneck in a red plaid coat, cap, and jeans. I don’t hesitate to jump down in the hole with him, along with my Asian friend. She has beautiful long black hair and bangs. Together we look for a rope that we can use to climb back up. The cord I find looks sturdy but it’s to short. She finds one that is long and white, slightly fraying but long. We pull the end that is out of our view toward us, and expose a head still wrapped in a noose. The crowd at the rim of the hole gasps. I shake the rope away from the decapitated head which rolls chin up and my friend goes to work to tie the rope around the man.
I look at the grey haired head. It belonged to a woman, who though has a young face, has hair that is silver with age. On the bottom of her chin, embedded into her skin, is an ‘x’ button from a Playstation controller. I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help myself. I push the button.
The head animates and emits a terrifying high pitched scream. The people above scream and run away. The head laughs and says, “The Silver Witch will rise again.”
I quickly loosen the noose knot when the head soars into the darkness surrounding us in this expansive underground area. I just get the knot undone when my friend is yanked by an unseen force into the black
I manage to get the guy out somehow, and run to the front door of the auditorium as fast as I can. I get in, and slam the door behind me. I hold it shut. My other friend with dark curly hair comes to the glass door. She pounds on it and begs me to let her inside. I trust her, so I do. Together we hold the doors closed. I’m new to this town, so I’ve never heard of this Silver Witch. I ask my friend why she didn’t tell me about this curse and who the witch is. She tells me that it’s an ancient story that was thought to be done with. The Silver Witch was thought to be dead.
Until I just woke her up.
My Asian friend comes to the door and also pleads for me to let her in. She says she’s being chased by the Silver Witch. She’s a good actor, but I know she’s acting. I refuse, telling her there is to big a chance that she is the Silver Witch herself. “If I was the witch, I would have red eyes and silver hair! It’s not me!” she argues.
It’s true that I figured the Silver Witch would have silver hair like the head in the hole, but now that she has said this, I know for sure she is the witch. “The witch is SILVER. Her eyes don’t go red. They go grey.”
A glimmering silver grey, just like my friend outside. She smiles wickedly at me before running around the corner and out of view. I curse at myself. Now that she’s out of my line of sight, the witch could leave my friends body and literally enter anyone of her pleasing, and now I’ll have no way to know who. It’ll be impossible to keep track, to beat her.
I go home and my dad, who is Harry Potter’s uncle, yells at me for coming home late and not doing the laundry. I struggle to close the curtain that exposes the night outside. My mom doesn’t yell. She’s understanding as she does the dishes.
I see a glimpse of Ron’s family as they fly around on brooms, playing quidditch with each other. It’s a stark contrast with my own home life. [End]
*Important* I’m an author and I would love to turn this dream into a novel or short story myself. Please don’t turn this into a written or video-visual story without asking first. Thanks!
Relative to Real Life~
Night of April 9th, 2014
Real-life characters: Harry Potter’s uncle(Harry Potter), mom, Ron and his family (Harry Potter).
Dream-created characters: Police and firefighters, people running around on the street, man in hole, Silver Witch, Asain friend, friend with curly hair, everyone in the crowd around our hole.
Different than real life: I don’t have friends, I graduated high school in 2011- so it’s been a while since I was a middle schooler, my parents are no longer in one household, my dad is not Harry Potter’s uncle.
Reasons:
Middle School = I was driving home at night and I passed the middle school. I saw a lost dog so I stopped in an attempt to help it, but it walked off into the middle school playground and was gone before I could reach it. It was odd to be standing in the threshold of the gate to the school I haven’t thought about in years. I’m sure this is why I dreamt of the school.
Reoccurring: No.

Either way, going to school or attending class in a dream is your unconscious reminder that there is a need for new learning and that you may have not learned an important lesson. School may not always be a positive experience, but it is always necessary. Ask yourself what do you need to learn more about? If you were a teacher in your dream, you may be dealing with issues of authority. From a spiritual point of view, some believe that in the dream state an individual may travel to an inner plane or the spiritual realm, where they can attend classes that assist in spiritual growth and development.
In the Zohar, the ‘magic head’ stands for astral light (9); in mediaeval art
it is a symbol for the mind (46) and for the spiritual life, which explains the
frequency with which it appeared in decorative art. On the other hand, Plato in
Timaeus asserts that ‘the human head is the image of the world’. In corroboration
of this, Leblant points out that the skull, the semi-spherical crown of the human
body, signifies the heavens. Clearly, the head-symbol here coalesces with that of
the sphere as a symbol of Oneness. It had the same significance in Egyptian
hieroglyphics (19). The eagle’s head has been used as a solar symbol and an
emblem of the centre-point of emanation—that is, of the cosmic flame and the
spiritual fire of the universe (4). Two, three or four heads shown in juxtaposition
symbolize a corresponding intensification of a given aspect of head-symbolism.
Thus, the Gemini, a symbol of the duality of Nature, or of the integrating (but not
unifying) link between the two principles of creation, are represented by beings
with two heads or two faces, like the Roman Janus for example. Hecate is depicted with three heads—she is called triform for this reason—a symbolism
which may be related to the ‘three levels’ of heaven, earth and hell, as well as to
Diel’s three ‘urges of life’ (15). The juxtaposition of four heads or faces, as in the
image of Brahma the Supreme Lord, stems from the same symbolism as that of
the tetramorph (60). A factor of major importance bearing upon the symbolism of
the head is mentioned by Herbert Kühn, in his L’Ascension de l’humanité (Paris,
1958). He makes the point that the decapitation of corpses in prehistoric times
marked Man’s discovery of the independence of the spiritual principle, residing
in the head, as opposed to the vital principle represented by the body as a whole.
Kühn adds that Neolithic thought was very close to the mediaeval in its conviction that an eternal and invisible essence underlies all appearances (Plate XV).
To see a head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world. The dream may also be metaphor to indicate that you are "ahead" in some situation or that you need to get ahead.

If you dream of your own head, you are threatened with nervous or brain trouble.

To dream of a child's head, there will be much pleasure ill store for you and signal financial success.

To wash your head, you will be sought after by prominent people for your judgment and good counsel.

A very important symbol, with two main aspects: on the biological
level, it has fertilizing power and is related to fertility rites; on the spiritual plane,
it stands for the ‘opening’ of this world on to the other world. Worship of
‘perforated stones’ in one form or another is very common all over the world.
Eliade notes that, in the region of Amance, there is just such a stone in front of
which women kneel to pray for the health of their children. To this day, in
Paphos, barren women crawl through the hole of such a stone. Primitive Indian
peoples were mainly concerned with its symbolism at the physical level, identifying the hole with the female sexual organs, although they too had an intuitive
awareness of the fact that holes could stand for the ‘gateway of the world’, which
the soul has to cross in order to be released from the cycle of karma (17). In the
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad it is said that ‘when a human being leaves this world,
he makes his way through the air, and the air opens up for him as wide as a
cartwheel’ (50). The artistic expression of this symbol is found in the Chinese Pi,
i.e. the representation of heaven. It is a jade disc with a hole in the middle;
measurements vary from case to case, but according to the Chinese dictionary
Erh Ya, the relation between the outside ring and the central hole remains constant. This hole is the Hindu ‘gateway’, also the Aristotelian ‘unvarying mean’ or
‘unmoved mover’. The origins of the Pi are exceedingly remote, and carved and
decorated Pi have also been found (39). As a symbol of heaven, the hole also stands specifically for the passage from spatial to non-spatial, from temporal to
non-temporal existence, and corresponds to the zenith (52). The strange and
roughly hewn door-openings of some neolithic stone-structures have been interpreted by some scholars as symbolic holes in the above sense; the laborious
nature of these holes could otherwise have been avoided by means of the simple
and well-known pillar-and-lintel method of construction. An outstanding example of this kind of door is that at Hagiar Kim (Malta). It is interesting to note,
in this connexion, that the initiation ceremony among the Pomo Indians of Northern California includes a ritual blow from a grizzly bear paw, which is supposed
to make a hole in the neophyte’s back, on account of which he ‘dies’ and is reborn
to a new stage of life. It is probable that, from the earliest times, the visual aspect
of wounds helped to strengthen the association between the concept of the hole
and that of passing into the other life. All this seems to be corroborated by the fact
that in many symbolist pictures, e.g. in Gustave Moreau’s Orpheus, the background landscape includes perforated rocks which are evidently invested with a
transcendental significance. It is also worth recalling Salvador Dali’s frequent
practice, amounting almost to an obsession, of painting holes (regular in shape,
like windows) on the backs of some of his figures.
To see a hole in the ground, denotes hidden aspects of your activities. On the other hand, it may mean that you are feeling hollow or empty inside. This dream may be an awakening for you to get out and expose yourself to new interests and activities. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on "wholeness' or completeness.
To dream that you fall into a hole, represents a pitfall in some waking situation. You feel you are stuck. Perhaps, you have dug yourself into a hole and cannot get out of it.
To dream that there is a hole in your clothing, indicates that there are some flaws in your thinking or thought process. You may need to undergo an image makeover.
Seeing a hole in the ground indicates hidden aspects of your activities. On the other hand, it may mean that you are feeling hollow or empty inside. This dream may be an awakening for you in that you need to get out and expose your self to new interests and activities. Dreaming that you fall into a hole means a pitfall in a situation in your life or that you are stuck in a hole. Perhaps, you have dug yourself into a hole and can not get out of it.
A feminine symbol (32) which, notwithstanding, contains all the implications of the symbolic hole, since it is the door which gives access to the hole; its
significance is therefore the antithesis of the wall. There is the same relationship
between the temple-door and the altar as between the circumference and the
centre: even though in each case the two component elements are the farthest
apart, they are nonetheless, in a way, the closest since the one determines and
reflects the other. This is well illustrated in the architectural ornamentation of
cathedrals, where the façade is nearly always treated as if it were an altar-piece.
To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that are presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside, signifies your need to be more accessible to others, whereas a door that opens into the inside, denotes your desire for inner exploration and self-discovery.
To see an opened door in your dream, symbolizes your receptiveness and willingness to accept new ideas/concepts. In particular, to see a light behind the door, suggests that you are moving toward greater enlightenment/spirituality.
To dream that the door is closed or locked, signifies opportunities that are denied and not available to you or that you have missed out on. Something or someone is blocking your progress. It also symbolizes the ending of a phase or project. In particular, if you are outside the locked door, then it suggests that you have anti-social tendencies. If you are inside the locked door, then it represents harsh lessons that need to be learned.
To dream that you are locking the door, suggests that you are closing yourself off from others. You are hesitant in letting others in and revealing your feelings. It is indicative of some fear and low self-worth. If someone slams the door in your face, then it indicates that you are feeling shut out or some activity or that you are being ignored.
To see revolving doors in your dream, suggests that you are literally moving in circles and going nowhere. You may feel that your opportunities and choices lead to a dead end.
To dream of entering a door, denotes slander, and enemies from whom you are trying in vain to escape. This is the same of any door, except the door of your childhood home. If it is this door you dream of entering, your days will be filled with plenty and congeniality.
To dream of entering a door at night through the rain, denotes, to women, unpardonable escapades; to a man, it is significant of a drawing on his resources by unwarranted vice, and also foretells assignations.
To see others go through a doorway, denotes unsuccessful attempts to get your affairs into a paying condition. It also means changes to farmers and the political world. To an author, it foretells that the reading public will reprove his way of stating facts by refusing to read his later works.
To dream that you attempt to close a door, and it falls from its hinges, injuring some one, denotes that malignant evil threatens your friend through your unintentionally wrong advice. If you see another attempt to lock a door, and it falls from its hinges, you will have knowledge of some friend's misfortune and be powerless to aid him.

You are hesitant in letting others in and revealing your feelings. It is indicative of some fear and low self-worth. Seeing revolving doors in your dream, suggests that you are literally moving in circles and going no where. You may feel that your opportunities and choices lead to a dead end.
Doors are passageways and in our dreams that is their symbolism. Going through a door may represent going from one state of consciousness to another, or from one inner plane to another. Locked or closed doors may represent an obstacle or opportunities that are not currently available to you. Many doors may represent your current choices.
To see your home in your dream, signifies security, basic needs, and values. You may be feeling at "home" or settled at your new job or environment. Alternatively, the dream represents your basic needs and priorities.
In particular, to see your childhood home, your hometown, or a home that you previously lived in, indicates your own desires for building a family and your family ideologies. It also reflects aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed during the time you lived in that home. You may experience some unfinished feelings that are being triggered by some waking situation. Alternatively, the dream may represent your outdated thinking.
To dream that you cannot find your way home, indicates that you have lost faith and belief in yourself. It may also signify a major transition in your life.
To dream of visiting your old home, you will have good news to rejoice over.
To see your old home in a dilapidated state, warns you of the sickness or death of a relative. For a young woman this is a dream of sorrow. She will lose a dear friend.
To go home and find everything cheery and comfortable, denotes harmony in the present home life and satisfactory results in business.
To dream of home-life in early boyhood indicates good health and prosperity. Good
