I’m at the craft store on main street with Weston. He is telling me about a great restaurant down the block as I check out. I remember our woods teacher telling us about it, and what dish he got. It was some kind of rice with chicken and spicy sesame sauce.
Weston takes me there, and it turns out to be in a school type basement. The walls are white painted bricks. It almost feels like an indoor pool environment, without the pool. I see Caleb leaning against the wall to one side of the opening to the concession-stand-type restaurant. I say hi to him while Weston gives a warm welcome to the people he knows that I do not. I immediately feel out of place, like I’m from Amity or Abnegation while all of these people are from Dauntless.
I pick out my food and they try to make it while I go over to the corner where I remember leaving my hammock. I heard a girl saying how excited she is to find one because she’s wanted a hammock for so long. I look and see that she and her friend are hosing off my hammock. I kindly tell her it’s mine. She seems sad at first, so I tell her she can use it for a while if she wants, so long as she does give it back to me eventually. She gives me a hug.
I go back to the food area, and someone in the crowd waiting for food tells me to check my Facebook. I pull out my iPod and open the Facebook app. The girl I just lent my hammock to left a status declaring she hopes we can be friends because I was so kind to her. I’m not quite sure how to respond, but it has to wait anyways because the girl making my food is asking me a question. I put my iPod back in my pocket and step up to the counter. The girl asks me if I want dark or white soy sauce on my food. I tell her what she’s putting on it now is fine. She gives a funny side glance to her coworker before they both laugh. Apparently what is is lathering the platter with now isn’t soy sauce. Embarrassed, I say, “I don’t know the difference.”
Now I’m driving. I drive to the rich part of town, where a ton of houses are for sale. They have big signs, like neon billboards, advertising that they’re up for sale. The road is above the houses, as thought the houses are all sunk into the Earth. I see Mary walking down the street, and I suddenly wish I had decided to walk out my frustration rather than take a drive. I pull into some trees, and now I’m inside my brother’s house. It’s new and beautiful. My aunt and uncle are actually the ones that live here. My aunt asks me if I need the radio on, seeing that I’m listening to my iPod. I tell her now, that I’m actually listening to my preloaded music. She and my uncle tell me about upgrading their Roku, which has messed up their radio miserably. They cut up onions and avocados as they talk. They’re really annoyed and disappointed about the radio being down, and I sympathize. [End]

Different than real life: I haven’t seen Caleb since I graduated high school three years ago, I haven’t spoken to Mary since high school, there is no such thing as white soy sauce as far as I know, the houses in the rich area in my town are not sunken in, I haven’t been to my brother’;s house in years, my aunt and uncle have never been to my brother’s house.
Reasons:
Weston = I saw him at the theater when I went to see Divergent a couple of days before this dream.
