Two of my teeth fall out while I’m laughing. I pick them out of my bloody mouth with shaky fingers and look at them with horror. One is the baby tooth on the right side of my mouth, and the other tooth is the molar that was behind the baby tooth. I hold the teeth in my open palm and show my mother. My mouth fills with blood.
I wake up at my dad’s house in my room. Something is wrong. Something is very, very wrong. I should be in my house, with my mom. I get up out of bed. My room is just like it was before I moved out. I exit into the hall, then the kitchen where my dad and his girlfriend greet me like it’s an ordinary day, like it’s normal to be living here, with them.
The realization hits me like a ton of bricks. I rush to the living room’s closet and fling open the door. My dad is worried now, so he walks over and asks me what is going on. I say out loud more to myself than to him, “Someone’s gone back in time. I’m not supposed to remember, but I do remember. Someone’s changed the past and now I’m stuck here with you two.”
I search around the closet for something that will give me a clue. I see a framed black and white photo with the date May 5th on it. “May 5th? Is today May 5th?” I ask my dad. He nods in reply.
I get dizzy. A whole month. I’ve skipped a whole month because of this past change. I have to fix this. I have to fix it! “Come on!” I shout at myself. I close my eyes and shake my hands by my temples, trying to channel every ounce of focus I have onto finding a solution by going to my own version of a mind palace. “Think! Solve it!”
I gasp. “Oh!” I laugh and shake my head, walking out of the closet and back toward the kitchen. “She knows better. I can’t believe this.”
My dad asks for a little reiteration.
I don’t give him the privilege of my time to explain that my mom has gone back with the Tardis to avoid marrying him. It would be a waist explaining it to him, since once I put things back in order, this version of him won’t exist at all. He won’t remember any of this, and neither will Kelly who sits at the table eating something while reading a paper. I swing my trench-coat off the back of one of the kitchen chairs and am about to leave the house to hunt down the Tardis. [End]
Relative to Real Life~
Night of March 1st, 2014
Real-life characters: Mom, Dad, Kelly.
Dream-created characters: None.
Real-life places: Dad’s house.
Dream-created places: None.
Different than real life: I did have two baby teeth still in my mouth due to my grown teeth never forming under them- I’ve only had one taken out.
Reoccurring: No.
Precognitive: (3-2-14) Me and my mom got into a conversation today and she said, “I wish I would have never married that man.” Though the general topic and reply isn’t something new, the phrasing, in particular bringing up marriage specifically, isn’t something she says every time we talk. It’s odd she would say that exactly, when I had a dream literally the night before in which she made that wish come true.
To dream of the past, suggests that a current waking situation is paralleling a past situation. You need to learn from the past and not make the same mistake again. Alternatively, the dream may represent unresolved issues from the past. Or that you need to stop living in the past and look forward toward the future.
Mystics have always traditionally considered the feminine aspect of
the universe as a chest, a house or a wall, as well as an enclosed garden. Another
symbolic association is that which equates the house (and the above, related
forms) with the repository of all wisdom, that is, tradition itself (4). In architectural symbolism, on the other hand, the house carries not only an overall symbolism but also particular associations attached to each of its component parts.
Nevertheless, the house as a home arouses strong, spontaneous associations with
the human body and human thought (or life, in other words), as has been confirmed empirically by psychoanalysts. Ania Teillard explains this by pointing
out that, in dreams, we employ the image of the house as a representation of the
different layers of the psyche. The outside of the house signifies the outward
appearance of Man: his personality or his mask. The various floors are related to
the vertical and spatial symbols. The roof and upper floor correspond to the head
and the mind, as well as to the conscious exercise of self-control. Similarly, the
basement corresponds to the unconscious and the instincts (just as sewers do, in
symbols pertaining to the city). The kitchen, since this is where foodstuff is
transformed, sometimes signifies the place or the moment of psychic transmutation in the alchemical sense. The intercommunicating rooms speak for themselves. The stairs are the link between the various planes of the psyche, but their
particular significance depends upon whether they are seen as ascending or descending. Finally, there is, as we have said, the association of the house with the
human body, especially regarding its openings, as was well understood by
Artemidorus Daldianus (56).
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system. To dream that a house has no walls, represents a lack of privacy. You feel that everyone is looking over your shoulder or up in your business.
To dream that you are cleaning your house, signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and get rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement.
If you live with others in your waking life, but dream that you are living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant.
To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update you mode of thinking. To dream that your house is damaged, indicates your waking concerns about the condition of your house.
To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life. You are becoming more emotionally mature. If you are locked out of the house, then it represents rejection and insecurity. You feel you are being left behind.
To dream that your house is broken into, suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied.
To dream of a haunted house, signifies unfinished emotional business, related to your childhood family, dead relatives, or repressed memories and feelings.
To dream that a house has disappeared, indicates that you are not feeling grounded. You feel uprooted by a particular circumstance or relationship in your life.
To dream that water is rising up in your house, suggests that you are becoming overwhelmed by your emotions.
To dream of building a house, you will make wise changes in your present affairs.
To dream that you own an elegant house, denotes that you will soon leave your home for a better, and fortune will be kind to you.
Old and dilapidated houses, denote failure in business or any effort, and declining health.

It is common to dream about houses. They usually symbolise our emotional and psychological selves. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive. Either way, if you pay attention to the details in this dream, you may learn a thing or two about yourself.
In the symbolism pertaining to the body, the most elementary association is the one between the organ or member and its function. It is, then, selfevident that, in Egyptian hieroglyphs, the mouth should stand for the power of
speech and hence for the creative word. In this sense it stands for the pristine
emanation of creative power. Very closely connected with this hieroglyph is
another showing a mouth with a solar disk inside. This disk, primarily standing
for the sun, is connected, but not identical, with the eye. (In hieroglyphs which
are coloured, the eye is wholly blue, while the sign under discussion consists of a
blue mouth with a little red circle inside) (19). Guénon supports this interpretation of the sign (29), pointing to the example of the Mândûkya Upanishad where,
apropos the state of deep sleep, the mouth is said to represent integral consciousness (26). In the Old Testament, the concepts of mouth and fire are frequently
associated; epithets such as ‘devouring’ or ‘consuming’, frequently applied to the
latter, are descriptive of the functions of the former. Hence the fire-breathing
animals of legend. Jung explains these associations by synaesthesia and suggests
that they are connected with Apollo, the sun-god who is depicted with a lyre as
his characteristic attribute. The common link between the symbolisms of sounding, speaking, shining and burning finds a physiological parallel in the phenomenon known as ‘coloured hearing’ whereby some individuals experience sounds
as colours. Furthermore, it is hardly a coincidence that the two main characteristics that set Man apart from all other beings are the power of speech and the use
of fire. Both are, in fact, the product of mana (psychic energy) (31). In consequence, mouth-symbolism, like fire-symbolism, has two aspects: creative (as in
speech) and destructive (devouring). And, of course, the mouth is the point of
convergence between the external and the inner worlds. This explains the frequent
symbol of the ‘monster’s mouth’, with sets of upper and lower teeth that are
expressive of the ‘interlocking’ of the two worlds: heaven and earth or, more
often, hell and earth (50). There are, in mediaeval iconography, abundant examples of the mouths of dragons or large fishes affording access to the inner world
or to the underworld.
To see a mouth in your dream, signifies your need to express yourself or talk about an issue that's bothering you. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you have said too much and you need to keep your mouth shut.

According to Allendy, teeth are the primigenial weapons of attack, and
an expression of activity. Loss of one’s teeth, then, signifies fear of castration or
of complete failure in life, or inhibition (56); it represents an attitude which is the
inversion of that of the Primitive, who, according to the findings of anthropology,
commonly adorned himself with the teeth and claws of conquered animals. Some
interpretations underline the significance of teeth in respect of the sexual aspect
of energy. But of greater importance is the Gnostic concept—for which we are
indebted to Leisegang’s Die Gnosis—in which the teeth constitute the battlements, the wall and the fortifications of the inner man, from the material or
energetic point of view, just as the eyes and the glance are the defence of the spirit.
This explains the negative symbolism of the loss or fracture of the teeth.
If the doctor pulls your tooth, you will have desperate illness, if not fatal; it will be lingering.
To have them filled, you will recover lost valuables after much uneasiness.
To clean or wash your teeth, foretells that some great struggle will be demanded of you in order to preserve your fortune.

If they appear decayed and snaggled, your business or health will suffer from intense strains.

Imperfect teeth is one of the worst dreams. It is full of mishaps for the dreamer. A loss of estates, failure of persons to carry out their plans and desires, bad health, depressed conditions of the nervous system for even healthy persons.
For one tooth to fall out, foretells disagreeable news; if two, it denotes unhappy states that the dreamer will be plunged into from no carelessness on his part. If three fall out, sickness and accidents of a very serious nature will follow.
Seeing all the teeth drop out, death and famine usually will prevail. If the teeth are decayed and you pull them out, the same, only yourself, is prominent in the case.
To dream of tartar or any deposit falling off of the teeth and leaving them sound and white, is a sign of temporary indisposition, which will pass, leaving you wiser in regard to conduct, and you will find enjoyment in the discharge of duty.
To admire your teeth for their whiteness and beauty, foretells that pleasant occupations and much happiness will be experienced through the fulfilment of wishes.
To dream that you pull one of your teeth and lose it, and feeling within your mouth with your tongue for the cavity, and failing to find any, and have a doctor for the same, but to no effect, leaving the whole affair enveloped in mystery, denotes that you are about to enter into some engagement which does not exactly please you, and which you decide to ignore, but will later take it up and secretly prosecute it to your own disquieting satisfaction and under the suspicion of friends.
To dream that a dentist cleans your teeth perfectly, and the next morning you find them rusty, foretells you will believe your interest secure concerning some person or position, but you will find that they have succumbed to the blandishments of an artful man or woman.
To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.
To dream that your teeth is gleaming, signifies happiness and fulfilled wishes.

Dreaming about teeth is very common in all cultures and age groups. Most dreams about teeth leave people feeling uneasy and anxious. Consider the overall content and context of the dream and note if you are having dental problems before making interpretation. Teeth usually symbolise power and/or control. Animals use their teeth for defence and nourishment and show their teeth when they are angry. Humans often display similar behaviours. Look and see if you are losing or abusing power and control in any area of your life (especially if you are losing teeth in your dream). Old dream interpretations say that dreaming about teeth is a bad omen that suggests financial difficulties.
Did you know that this is a very common dream? In fact various theories of interpretation have been put forward for this.
It is a dream where you suddenly find that you do not have teeth, or that they keep falling out, suddenly. Certainly bizarre, this dream can be interpreted as a readiness for change.
