Purple Cat

It is the last day of senior year. I am walking with Mary through the halls, finishing off all of our classes. At the end of the day, everyone gathers outside and makes a line toward this rickety shed thing. There are teachers in there giving us favors as a congratulations for graduating. The main person I remember is my history teacher Mr. Bronivan sitting behind a desk at the end of the hall of the shack, passing out beer. Of coarse, he only hands it out to people that are 21 years of age, naturally, but he doesn't know everyone's exact age. If they say they're 21, or at least don't object to him passing them the plastic cup full of alcohol, he doesn't care. Mary takes it without flinching, but then it's my turn. I'm only 20. I know I shouldn't take it, but I don't object. He hands me the cup and gives me a funny look, as though he knows, but doesn't mind. I get the sense that he thinks I need to loosen up. I thank him and attempt to walk away, but the ground tilts and wobbles and I stumble around. I wonder if I'm drunk, and feel completely embarrassed as my classmates stare at me. I'm tossed into the wall, then back towards the desk by the drastic tilts in the ground. It isn't until I get around the corner that I realize I can't be drunk, I haven't taken even a sip of the alcohol yet. Then I look at the line of classmates ahead of me, including Mary, and see they are struggling to keep balance on the shaking floor. The next thing that comes to mind is an Earthquake. That's the only other explanation. We all need to get out of this building, or it will topple down on us. I grab Mary's wrist and drag her out of the building, managing barely to keep my balance.
Once outside we wander the town, not sure where else to go. It dawns on me to use my Clairvoyance. I snap my fingers on my left hand, and a blue/purple, fluid ribbon appears from my chest and winds it's way through the alleys. I follow it without question, knowing it will lead me to where I am supposed to be. Mary tags along. The ribbon leads me into someone's house. I wonder why it would lead me into someone's home, which seems odd, but I listen. I unlock the door and walk right in. Once inside, me and Mary try to be sneaky. The person that lives in this house is sleeping in a bed not far away from the kitchen we are walking through, and we don't want to wake her. I snap my fingers again to be shown the way. We follow the ribbon willingly, until it starts to lead us in circles. I try to figure out why it is doing this, when I catch a glimpse at the opposite end of the ribbon: it's following a black cat. "That's the black cat that's in the wanted posters," I tell Mary. It's the cat that has a reward out for it. We both chase after it, and the cat's fur changes from black to an electric purple. That's what happens when it is scared. All the ruckus we cause chasing the feline around wakes the owner of the house, an old grumpy woman. [End]

Relative to Real Life~
Night of February 27th, 2013
Real-life characters: Mary, Mr. Bronivan, some of the other students.
Dream-created characters: Rest of the students, old woman, purple cat.
Real-life places: School.
Dream-created places: Shack, town, old woman's home.
Different than real life: I don't have clairvoyance, me and Mary were not friends my senior year, I haven't seen a wanted poster for a black cat and especially not for one that turns purple, I've never consumed alcohol and prefer to keep it that way, I wasn't 20 when I graduated high school though that is the age I am now, I've never been in an Earthquake.
Reasons:
Clairvoyance = I considered playing Skyrim last night but decided I was to tired. In the game there is a magic spell called Clairvoyance that will show you the direct path to take to reach your goal.
Earthquake = I watched an episode of Psych last night that involved an oil rig drilling on a fault line. The fault line reminded me of what I learned in high school about Earthquakes.
Mary = I might have seen her while driving to work on the 27th, but I wasn't absolutely sure it was her that I saw. It resembled her enough to make me second glance.
Precognitive: No experiences.
Reoccurring: No.
