I am in the high school gym in the corner where normally there is bleachers. Instead, I am able to walk right up to the wall. Hanging at eye level is a white hook that, when you pull on the hook, dispenses Christmas lights. I leave the gym and go around the corner into my mom's computer room to get a strand of gold bells to hang up. I find Kevin, and old friend, up on a chair looking into a tall box by the window in the corner. He hands me the end of the strand and I start to walk towards the door as he untangles it for me. An angel is wrapped up in it, and I say "Save it, save it!" teasingly.
He doesn't get to it in time before it was pull off the box and "hung". I walk over and giggle as we untangle it.
"Can't save them all," I tease and almost add, "want to start the level over?" but I decide not to since I didn't think he would get that it's a video game reference.
I go back to the gym and walk the strand from the hook halfway across the gym, as far as it reached.
Then, in third person, I saw myself hand-writing the words in a notebook, "walked the strand across the gym", then watched as I scratched some of them out, and put instead, "halfway across". I try to think of where to take my character in this "story", as I the character try and figure out what to do with the strand. [End]

Different than real life: Computer room/office is not in the high school. Not in high school anymore. Not in communications with Kevin anymore.
Reasons:
Lights = Just got more Christmas lights at the store.
Kevin = Saw him at the grocery store not long ago.
Bells = Contemplating where to hang the same strand of bells for real in my home.
