It was a gloomy afternoon and my friend Michael and I adventured to this witchcraft shop we had heard about a few towns away. We were really excited because we didn't think that Connecticut had any of these witch shops that we could visit.
We arrived and it was a cute little white house that had many decorations on the outside and it was off of a busy main road. We saw other cars there so we figured she was open. We went up to the door (I guess she lived in the house as well) and an older couple was walking out with a cat. We proceeded past them and I swear she knew that people were coming because right as we walked onto her front steps she opened the door for us. She told us that she was closed, and was always closed on Sundays, but she would allow us to look around anyways. There were magic kits, dragon's blood, and a lot of very weird ingredients for spells. The lighting was dim, the floors were squeaky, and the music was very strange sounding. I felt out of my usual element but I enjoyed feeling the way I did.
The strange part to all of this was that from the moment I entered the house I felt strange vibes of energy. I'm not sure how to go about putting my feelings into words, but it almost felt as if she knew what I was thinking or she just knew what we were doing in the other room. I felt like I had eyes on me at all times even when she wasn't around and when I went into the room where she was in I felt even more of these unsafe vibes. I swear I've never felt anything like it before. We proceeded to the checkout because I told Michael that I wanted to get going because I didn't feel well, which was semi-true. I bought a hematite ring along with a golden ring that had a sun and a moon on it. When I handed her the money I literally felt some kind of electricity in my hand. When she placed my rings in a box she sprinkled fairy dust in it. Michael bought the same rings as I did and he got fairy dust sprinkled in his box as well. We left immediately afterwards and after I closed the door I felt entirely different. I felt that the eyes had disappeared and I felt that the negative energy vibrations had left. I'm a very open person and I normally tell people the things I experience, especially Michael. For some reason I felt that I literally shouldn't tell him what happened and to this day he doesn't know how I felt in Enchantments. I don't know why but I feel like it's better off that my experience to him remains unsaid. I'll never understand exactly what it was that I was feeling last Sunday afternoon but all I know is that my feelings were real and I wasn't imagining any of it.
