Por Vida

The dream I had last night was definitely interesting. It started with me waking up in an apartment building.(I'm still not sure how I ended up there). There were 3 people in the room with me. 2 of which were Mexican. The 3rd was a "ghetto" looking white guy. The two Mexicans seemed to be siblings. The oldest had a backwards flat bill fitted cap, and the youngest had glasses. When I woke up I was sleeping on a black chair. When the two Mexicans saw that I had awoken they seemed excited and called me over. When I approached them the oldest started rambling to me that I was ready to join their "gang" I was confused and kept telling him no, I'm not ready to join. He kept insisting, saying that it would make me stronger, braver, and just overall tougher. I told him to look at how skinny I was, I'm not cut out for a gang.(Nor did I want to be). He just kept talking about the reasons why I should join, and from the way he was talking, it seemed I didn't have a choice. He was talking almost threateningly. I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but I kind of played it off as if I was going to join or something, and the older Mexican went and laid down on the couch and fell asleep. The white kid was sitting on a chair doing something I don't remember, but he wasn't paying attention to me. The younger brother went to the bathroom, and that's when I realized it was my chance to escape. I walked quickly but quietly out of the room I was in, into a hallway that led to the stairway. I ran down the stairs and out the door of the apartment building. As I was running away, the oldest Mexican opened up a window and yelled something at me in Spanish. I watched him pull a rifle from inside the room and he started firing at me. I ran faster. I was in an apartment complex, so all the buildings looked very similar, aside from the nick-knacks people left around the outside of the apartments. As I was running, a man opened a glass sliding door from one of the apartments and walked out. He was an old native American man and he was holding a dream catcher. He said something to me as I ran by that was either incomprehensible or a different language. And that's all I remember of this dream. The Native American man still doesn't make any sense to me, and neither does this dream as a whole. I don't affiliate with gangs, or that crowd of people. I've always been somewhat intimidated by that lifestyle. Very interesting dream indeed.
