This is a rather BRIEF dream but upon waking I felt full of details that jotting it down I felt it to be significant. However, as my notes are rather vague and unspecific I have trouble piecing the sequence of events together. I will try my best to make sense out of this garbled mess as the memories only come back to me in brief flickers...
The beginning sequence involves some sort of pool house. All I remember is a patio with a pool at night time. There is a floating blow-up raft of some kind, the kind you expect to see in a pool. It could be one of those floating chair types. But there must be a rip in it cause it's sinking. And on the chair facing my direction as I approach closer to take a good look, I see a laptop computer and on it it is playing an episode of the show Glee... I can't recall with 100% certainty if I saw someone trying to fish the computer out with one of those pool skimmers or not?...
The plot then changes location as suddenly I am with my family. We are on vacation on the road when I guess our van or RV or whatever it is we happen to be traveling in breaks down by the side of the road and we need to take shelter at a local barn house for the night. A family shows us hospitality and takes us in for the night. There's parents and some kids, not sure how many, I only saw one daughter (around 14-16) and one son (around 10-12). There MAY have been a younger daughter too I dunno? -The night is very dark and stormy, I think? -If there was lightning it didn't really kick in till the end to make the atmosphere all the more 'intense'. And if lightning did strike it wasn't that phony movie kind, it was the realistic 'natural' kind!
This family is very 'fear based'. They seem to be afraid of something but the root of their fear varies from moment to moment. There seems to be a pond in the middle of the house, that also leads outside. Or maybe the whole thing is outside. All I know is there seems to be an abundance of frogs all over the place. Bright green colored exotic frogs. They're very beautiful to look at. The family seems to like to EAT THEM for religious reasons. The father and the boy strap up at one point to go frog hunting. Every now and again they start reciting scripture and speaking their strange cult like religious philosophy. There's no indoor heating and the temperature is very chilling. We begin getting scared and I remember my mom discussing with my dad that we should really just pack our stuff up and leave.
I notice various dogs wander about in the dream. I wrote down cats too but I'm not so sure anymore? Things really get Night of the Living Dead on us when they finish quoting their FINAL scripture to one another and look at us from down the corridor. I remember being up above at one point in the barn looking down. The family seems intimidated by the father and it's clear they don't really wish to be a part of this, or at least don't understand how this keeps them spiritually safe. But they comply cause it's their religion none the less. At that point our desire to leave hits an all time URGENCY when we see the family coming to collect more frogs and they offer to have us come hunting with them but it becomes rather evident to us that frogs are only the appetizer. WE are the main course!!!...
To see your own family in your dream, represents security, warmth and love. It could also symbolize bitterness, jealousy, or rivalry, depending on your relationship with your family. Alternatively, it could mean that you are overly dependent on your family, especially if the family members are in your recurring dreams .Consider also the significance of a particular family member or the relationship you have with them.
To dream of one's family as harmonious and happy, is significant of health and easy circumstances; but if there is sickness or contentions, it forebodes gloom and disappointment.
Seeing your own family in high spirits in your dream, symbolizes harmony and happiness. Seeing them gloomy, foretells of disappointment and sadness.
The first people in your life with whom you have any social interaction are the members of your family. Therefore, a dream about a family member can represent any waking life social situation. For example, if you are arguing with your mother or father in a dream, you may be having a problem with another authority figure, such as an employer, in your waking life. If you dream that an older sibling is teaching you how to do something, you may be hoping that you will receive assistance with something from someone else in your waking life.
A family can also represent security and community.
The meaning of a dream about family will largely depend upon your personal experiences with your own family members.
To dream of catching frogs, denotes carelessness in watching after your health, which may cause no little distress among those of your family.
To see frogs in the grass, denotes that you will have a pleasant and even-tempered friend as your confidant and counselor.
To see a bullfrog, denotes, for a woman, marriage with a wealthy widower, but there will be children with him to be cared for.
To see frogs in low marshy places, foretells trouble, but you will overcome it by the kindness of others.
To dream of eating frogs, signifies fleeting joys and very little gain from associating with some people.
To hear frogs, portends that you will go on a visit to friends, but it will in the end prove fruitless of good.
These creatures are not harmful. This dreamtherefore is not unfavourable. It denotes
success.
Old dream interpretation books say that frogs are a good omen and represent happiness and great friendships. From a more modern point of view, frogs may be considered symbols of the unconscious because they live in the water. Frogs also represent transformation of the positive kind.
Night is related to the passive principle, the feminine and the unconscious. Hesiod gave it the name of ‘mother of the gods’, for the Greeks believed
that night and darkness preceded the creation of all things (8). Hence, night—like
water—is expressive of fertility, potentiality and germination (17); for it is an
anticipatory state in that, though not yet day, it is the promise of daylight. Within
the tradition of symbology it has the same significance as death and the colour
black.
To have a dream that takes place at night, represents some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. You are being faced with an issue that is not so clear cut. Perhaps, you should put the issues aside so you can clear your head and come back to it later. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth, reflection, and new beginnings.
If you are surrounded by night in your dreams, you may expect unusual oppression and hardships in business. If the night seems to be vanishing, conditions which hitherto seemed unfavorable will now grow bright, and affairs will assume prosperous phases.
Dreaming of night means some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. You may find that some issues you are facing are not all that clear and you need to put them to rest for awhile before a decision is made.
To see a pool of water in your dream, indicates that you need to acknowledge and understand your feelings. It is time to dive in and deal with those emotions. Alternatively, a pool indicates your desire to be cleansed. You need to wash away the past.

The point signifies unity, the Origin and the Centre. It also represents
the principles of manifestation and emanation, and hence in some mandalas the
centre is not actually shown but must be imagined by the initiate. There are two
kinds of point to be considered: that which has no magnitude and is symbolic of
creative virtue, and that which—as suggested by Raymond Lull in his Nova
Geometria—has the smallest conceivable or practicable magnitude and is a symbol of the principle of manifestation. Moses of Leon defined the nature of the
original Point as follows: ‘This degree is the sum total of all subsequent mirrors,
that is, of all external aspects related to this one degree. They proceed therefrom
because of the mystery of the point, which is in itself an occult degree emanating
from the mystery of the pure and awe-inspiring ether. The first degree of all is
absolutely occult, that is, not manifest, and cannot be attained’ (25). This explains why the Centre—identical with the mystic point of Moses of Leon—is
usually represented as a hole.
To see something pointed in your dream, represents action, urgency and completion. The dream suggests that you have arrived to a decision or common understanding. Alternatively, the dream may also be a metaphor that there is a point to your dream. Or you need to get your point across.
Mystics have always traditionally considered the feminine aspect of
the universe as a chest, a house or a wall, as well as an enclosed garden. Another
symbolic association is that which equates the house (and the above, related
forms) with the repository of all wisdom, that is, tradition itself (4). In architectural symbolism, on the other hand, the house carries not only an overall symbolism but also particular associations attached to each of its component parts.
Nevertheless, the house as a home arouses strong, spontaneous associations with
the human body and human thought (or life, in other words), as has been confirmed empirically by psychoanalysts. Ania Teillard explains this by pointing
out that, in dreams, we employ the image of the house as a representation of the
different layers of the psyche. The outside of the house signifies the outward
appearance of Man: his personality or his mask. The various floors are related to
the vertical and spatial symbols. The roof and upper floor correspond to the head
and the mind, as well as to the conscious exercise of self-control. Similarly, the
basement corresponds to the unconscious and the instincts (just as sewers do, in
symbols pertaining to the city). The kitchen, since this is where foodstuff is
transformed, sometimes signifies the place or the moment of psychic transmutation in the alchemical sense. The intercommunicating rooms speak for themselves. The stairs are the link between the various planes of the psyche, but their
particular significance depends upon whether they are seen as ascending or descending. Finally, there is, as we have said, the association of the house with the
human body, especially regarding its openings, as was well understood by
Artemidorus Daldianus (56).
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life. You are becoming more emotionally mature. If you are locked out of the house, then it represents rejection and insecurity. You feel you are being left behind.
To dream that your house is broken into, suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied.
To dream of a haunted house, signifies unfinished emotional business, related to your childhood family, dead relatives, or repressed memories and feelings.
To dream that a house has disappeared, indicates that you are not feeling grounded. You feel uprooted by a particular circumstance or relationship in your life.

Old and dilapidated houses, denote failure in business or any effort, and declining health.
