I am a lil' foggy on the contents of this dream. The earliest back I can remember is being in a department store. Whether it's a Wall-Mart I can't tell, but I've seen this same department store in another dream...
I can't recall what I was there to buy, I'm just simply there looking around. I happen to bump in to a friend of mine Charline. She's there speaking with a friend of her's and the two of them seem to be discussing something important and are looking at something from the shelf they have in their hands. I say hello to Charlene very happy-go-lucky, Charlene seems rather busy, gives me a brief glance but never twice. I've tried and tried to recall exactly what they were saying to each other as I feel it was clear enough I could make out conversation. All I can say is that it seemed rather personal, and not at all to do with anything they were doing right now.
Getting bored (or possibly having forgotten what I came to the store to purchase), I exit through the automatic sliding door.
The next sequence of the dream once again has Chris in it. We seem pretty happy together. I don't know why but most of the time I seem to detect a degree of nervousness from Chris, even when he tries to disguise it? In this dream there seems to be MANY people who discuss me and Chris' relationship, like gossip. I seem to be pretty popular in this dream. You might even say I'm more popular than Chris? How the hell did that happen?!? Especially since I don't even know what I'm popular FOR? All I seem to do in the dream is sit around and meditate all the time, I don't know why that's made me popular? I think it's my breakthrough in spirituality that everyone seems to be so interested in? -Chris seems rather proud of me though, I think he's glad to finally see me come out of my shell. And I seem to be pretty happy to come out of it also, infact it's the most 'relaxed' I seem to be in all the dreams I have of me and Chris. I'm sitting cross-legged a lot of the time. My cats make various appearances throughout, can't remember which ones run through.
At one particular sequence there's some kind of publicity stunt I'm doing where I'm supposed to test my faith. I don't know how as I'm not really sure what I'm doing during this sequence. Chris is there to support me but has to leave after on order to ensure my concentration throughout. We have a house together. I see a coy pond and a very Buddhist zen environment, in commune with nature. But when I do the meditation I am indoors. There is absolutely no furniture anywhere. Just blank white walls. As everyone leaves I see myself go and sit in the corner of the room facing the walls. I sit there cross-legged in total silence. The room is barren and uninteresting, I sit there patiently...
The final sequence consists of me viewing an episode of Law & Order SVU. The episode is shown twice from two different perspectives and thus camera angles. The plot involves Olivia and Elliot in pursuit of a notorious rapist who finally gets cornered and takes a girl hostage. Olivia pulls a gun on the perp and is threatening to shoot. She seems to want it BAD, I'm show a close-up shot of the gun practically being right in the camera. The rapist is scared but acts super-tough and starts taunting Olivia, DARING her to fire the gun. Elliot is trying to calm Liv down and is wondering what is taking Casey so long to get to them with the warrant. Casey finally does show up and Elliot is shouting and for some reason or other Casey takes this particular moment in time to take everyone's lunch order? -Elliot looks baffled and gets frustrated with Novak "Casey this isn't the time to be asking what people what they wanna eat." "Yeah I know but what do you want for lunch?" Casey won't let up about the food but Liv finally gets her attention and asks her if she has the warrant. (The warrant in question in this particular reality being a piece of paper that gives Liv a pardon to execute this rapist herself. Casey acts nonchalant and forces Liv to ask her twice to which Casey says of course almost like she can't believe Liv is even asking. It's almost comical her reaction, almost like the bigger question for her at the particular moment is why this rapist is even still standing, he should be dead right now?!
The attitudes of Liv and the rapist both change as the rapist now knows Liv has a legal document stating she can shoot this guy dead is she so pleases. The rapist is really sweating now as it's really starting to sink in that he might die anytime now? Liv really wants to shoot this scumbag BAD and the rapist starts taunting her some more. Liv keeps threatening him that he's about to die any moment now, but as I wake up I again am left without an ending as Olivia never pulls the trigger on the rapist...
