We moved to Grass Valley area. We were very happy, all done on the coast, moving into this different house. I was trying to decide what colors to paint what walls (we're painting the inside of the house here now), and i took quite a bit of time going over every wall, the house layout, where the light hits, etc.
Outside there was a huge farm that someone could not take care of anymore. Etien and our friend Seneca were harvesting a field of cabbage and some other veggies, very happy to be helping this abandoned farm. Trying to make the best of what was left over. Seneca was smiling very big, very happy. I never made eye contact with Etien. I kept looking over the field trying to look for a friend. No one seemed to know and no one wanted to volunteer information. I stood there feeling quite hopeless, but back to the home duties.
Inside there was a table full of fish tanks, one had a huge orange snake in it. The owner of the snake was showing me how he put his hand down the throat. when the snake is hungry he'll try anything... the owner thought it was funny, but i was worried dance would walk by and the snake would get ahold of him...
