I am watching over Bernie and Mary Alice's house, but a second generation has begun to live there. Bob, Dawn, and their girls. There is a spread of delicious food out on the table and bar. While I'm eating, I can hear the sounds of a family gathering in the dining room around the corner.
it becomes apparent that I can transform into a gigantic machine. I am eager to gain control of this power. I head out into the backyard, which is a huge open field instead of the stuffy suburban setting of reality. My father and younger sister also seem to posses this ability. They are outside with me. I start by deep breathing, and I can feel the change come over me. Like suddenly I am cold and hollow. strong. I laugh, trying to describe this feeling, but my father just smiles knowingly.
Suddenly the backyard is full of strangers. Someone wants to use our powers for evil. I crawl through some small space full of spiderwebs, under the porch, maybe? And run inside to take a shower to get them off of me. Our captor appears in the bathroom, telling me that it is much too cold for him to sit outside waiting for me to worry about my family and come save them. he is threatening demeanor is strangely sexy, and I'm really not all that worried about what he might do to me. I agree to come with him, but he tells me to remove all my jewelry. I keep trying to make exceptions, and he keeps shaking his head. eventually I leave the bathroom with a single silver hoop in one ear.
Outside I try to write a note on a scrap of paper and throw it to a group of women. "we are being kidnapped. we are giant robot transformers. call 911" they pick it up, look at it, and reveal my struggle to the captor. I scream at them as we are led inside, "you're killing us! how can you do this!? help us!" They sadly cannot. they are bound by their own obligations, not inherently evil but caught up in something that is so much larger than themselves.
I recall doing a bit of flying around as a robot, too. If I started to run, the transformation came quickly and suddenly I was impossibly tall, with ridiculous strength and the ability to jet into the air if I pleased.
anyway. I am headed outside through the back and find myself alone. I grab a piece of garlic bread and pile lasagna on it, munching while I call 911. I repeat my problem, naming the captor as he is someone "famous" (Adam West?) and everyone knows him, but the operator doesn't do anything. I assume he controls the police as well. the garage door is barred with a note about not disturbing the garden. I kick the board aside and walk down the garage stairs, confused at the scene of the "garden" which really just appears to be seeds sprinkled on hard concrete.
Symbolic of latent, non-manifest forces, or of the mysterious potentialities the presence of which, sometimes unsuspected, is the justification for

Like every closed circle, the ring is a symbol of continuity and wholeness. This is why (like the bracelet) it has been used both as a symbol of marriage
and of the eternally repeated time-cycle. Sometimes it occurs in animal form, as a
snake or an eel biting its tail (Ouroboros); sometimes as a pure geometrical form
(8, 20, 32). It is interesting to note that, in some legends, the ring is regarded as the
only remaining link of a chain. Thus, it is told that when Jupiter allowed Hercules
to rescue Prometheus, it was on condition that the latter should thereafter wear an
iron ring, set with a piece of rock from the Caucasus, as a symbol of submission
to his punishment (8). Another type of ring is found in the circle of flames
surrounding the dancing Shiva as he performs the cosmic dance; this flame-ring
can be related to the Zodiac. Like the Zodiac and the Ouroboros of the Gnostics,
it has an active and a passive half (evolution, involution), and stands for the lifecycle of both the universe and each individual being: the circular dance of nature
in eternal process of creation and destruction. At the same time, the light radiated
by the ring of flames symbolizes eternal wisdom and transcendental illumination
(60).

Broadly speaking, the threaded bead-necklace stands for the unifying of diversity, that is, it represents an intermediate state between the inherent
disintegration of all multiplicity—always a negative state—and the state of unity
inherent in continuity. Regarded as a string, the necklace becomes a cosmic and
social symbol of ties and bonds. Because it is usually worn on the neck or breast,
it acquires a symbolic relation with those parts of the body and with the signs of
the Zodiac pertaining to them. Since the neck has an astrological association with
sex, the necklace also betokens an erotic link.
To see or wear a necklace in your dream, represents unsatisfied desires. It also highlights your intellect and your desire to have more influence and power over others. If the necklace is broken or lost, then it indicates that your rational thinking is in accordance with your emotional thinking. You need to act on your gut instinct about some situation or relationship.

In the Zohar, the ‘magic head’ stands for astral light (9); in mediaeval art
it is a symbol for the mind (46) and for the spiritual life, which explains the
frequency with which it appeared in decorative art. On the other hand, Plato in
Timaeus asserts that ‘the human head is the image of the world’. In corroboration
of this, Leblant points out that the skull, the semi-spherical crown of the human
body, signifies the heavens. Clearly, the head-symbol here coalesces with that of
the sphere as a symbol of Oneness. It had the same significance in Egyptian
hieroglyphics (19). The eagle’s head has been used as a solar symbol and an
emblem of the centre-point of emanation—that is, of the cosmic flame and the
spiritual fire of the universe (4). Two, three or four heads shown in juxtaposition
symbolize a corresponding intensification of a given aspect of head-symbolism.
Thus, the Gemini, a symbol of the duality of Nature, or of the integrating (but not
unifying) link between the two principles of creation, are represented by beings
with two heads or two faces, like the Roman Janus for example. Hecate is depicted with three heads—she is called triform for this reason—a symbolism
which may be related to the ‘three levels’ of heaven, earth and hell, as well as to
Diel’s three ‘urges of life’ (15). The juxtaposition of four heads or faces, as in the
image of Brahma the Supreme Lord, stems from the same symbolism as that of
the tetramorph (60). A factor of major importance bearing upon the symbolism of
the head is mentioned by Herbert Kühn, in his L’Ascension de l’humanité (Paris,
1958). He makes the point that the decapitation of corpses in prehistoric times
marked Man’s discovery of the independence of the spiritual principle, residing
in the head, as opposed to the vital principle represented by the body as a whole.
Kühn adds that Neolithic thought was very close to the mediaeval in its conviction that an eternal and invisible essence underlies all appearances (Plate XV).
To see a head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world. The dream may also be metaphor to indicate that you are "ahead" in some situation or that you need to get ahead.
To dream that someone is trying to rip your head off, suggests that you are not seeing a situation or problem clearly. Perhaps you are refusing to see the truth. You have to confront the situation or the person despite the pain and discomfort you might feel in doing so.
To dream that you have two heads, indicate that you need to learn to ask for help and accept assistance. Consider the metaphor "two heads are better than one". Do not try to do everything yourself.
To see a person's head in your dream, and it is well-shaped and prominent, you will meet persons of power and vast influence who will lend you aid in enterprises of importance.
If you dream of your own head, you are threatened with nervous or brain trouble.
To see a head severed from its trunk, and bloody, you will meet sickening disappointments, and the overthrow of your dearest hopes and anticipations.
To see yourself with two or more heads, foretells phenomenal and rapid rise in life, but the probabilities are that the rise will not be stable.
To dream that your head aches, denotes that you will be oppressed with worry.
To dream of a swollen head, you will have more good than bad in your life.
To dream of a child's head, there will be much pleasure ill store for you and signal financial success.
To dream of the head of a beast, denotes that the nature of your desires will run on a low plane, and only material pleasures will concern you.
To wash your head, you will be sought after by prominent people for your judgment and good counsel.

To dream about your backyard, represents your childhood memories or your unconscious. Alternatively, dreaming of your backyard, refers to the secrets you are keeping. There are some aspects of your life which you want to keep hidden and out of the view of others. The dream also represents some aspect of your life that you have taken for granted. Consider also the phrase "not in my backyard." In other words, everything is okay as long as it does not happen to you or occur in your own home. The condition of the yard is also symbolic of how well you maintain and balance aspects of your life.

The father-image, closely linked with the symbolism of the masculine
principle, corresponds to consciousness as opposed to the maternal implications
of the unconscious. The symbolic representation of the father is based upon the
Elements of air and fire, and also heaven, light, thunderbolts and weapons (56).
Just as heroism is a spiritual activity proper to the son, so dominion is the power
peculiar to the father (17). Because of this, and also because he stands for the
force of tradition (32), he represents the world of moral commandments and
prohibitions restraining the forces of the instincts (31) and subversion.

Dreams with fathers in them can be looked at on several different levels. You may be dreaming about your father and expressing your feelings about him in a safe way. Traditionally, a father dream can be seen as symbolizing authority and power. In the dream you may be expressing your attitude about strengths and weaknesses as they relate to your position in life and your general attitude toward society. Your father dying in a dream can represent your taking on more responsibility or power. The image of the father could also represent the "collective consciousness," the traditional spirit, and the yang.
In Bachelard’s opinion, supported by literary analysis, cold corresponds symbolically to being in the situation of, or longing for, solitude or exaltation. Nietzsche, in his Human, All Too Human, makes a call for ‘the cold, wild
Alpine lands scarce warmed by the Autumn sun and loveless’. ‘Thanks to the
cold, the air gains in attacking virtues, it becomes spiritualized and dehumanized.
In the frozen atmosphere, at higher altitudes, one finds another Nietzschean
quality: silence’ (1).

The first people in your life with whom you have any social interaction are the members of your family. Therefore, a dream about a family member can represent any waking life social situation. For example, if you are arguing with your mother or father in a dream, you may be having a problem with another authority figure, such as an employer, in your waking life. If you dream that an older sibling is teaching you how to do something, you may be hoping that you will receive assistance with something from someone else in your waking life.
A family can also represent security and community.
The meaning of a dream about family will largely depend upon your personal experiences with your own family members.
The garden is the place where Nature is subdued, ordered, selected
and enclosed. Hence, it is a symbol of consciousness as opposed to the forest,
which is the unconscious, in the same way as the island is opposed to the ocean.
At the same time, it is a feminine attribute because of its character as a precinct
(32). A garden is often the scene of processes of ‘Conjunction’ or treasure-hunts—
connotations which are clearly in accord with the general symbolic function we
have outlined. A more subtle meaning, depending upon the shape and disposition,
or the levels and orientation, of the garden, is one which corresponds to the basic
symbolism of landscape (q.v.).

It may be a symbol of lost innocence or youth. Folklore tells us that dreaming of beautiful gardens is symbolic of great happiness and love. If the garden is wild, it means that you may have difficulties but with some care and attention you are capable of overcoming them. In daily life the appearance of a back garden is usually a reflection on the people living in the house. A neat and well groomed garden, with grass and flowers, usually indicates that people living there are conscientious, caring, and have enough energy to maintain their property. The garden in your dream may be a reflection of how well you have been able to maintain your internal and external environment. The back garden points to things that are less obvious and, at times, may be unconscious. It may also represent childhood memories that hold positive and negative emotions and lead to self-awareness. If the garden in your dream was a measuring unit, think about what you are measuring and if any growth has taken place.

Travelling is very common theme in dreams and travelling in a car is the most common. Travelling in a vehicle generally can represent our journey through life -- or a portion of our life's journey. If in your dream you find yourself in a garage or a car park, two varying connotations can be made. Please consider the content of your dream, the mood in it, and your current dilemma or situation in life. The parked car could represent a period of inactivity and indecision in your life. The dream could be pointing out that you have been idol for a period of time and that it may be a good time to "get a move on." The more positive interpretation of this dream may be that the parked car is symbolic of a reflective period or mood. You may be parked for a while so that you can rest, relax, regroup, and think things over.
