There is a military battle going on, and where I am is under attack. I am on the edge of some large cliff and down below me are a small group of soldiers. I feel they are allies and I am trying to find a way to help them up from the platform below. I look around for a rope but all I find is two computer wires. I put the ends together but they easily fall apart. Though there is a battle going on in the distance, I don't take much interested in the fight.
In fact, since I cannot find a rope, I give on on trying to find a way to help the soldiers up. They don't seem interested in getting up either. I continue away from the cliff and I see a woman leading an attack against us. Then fly over military planes and they shoot bullets towards a group of people on the ground. I see what appears to be an alien, since it is human like, but dark with a large head. The alien is the first to get shot, and when it does it throws its head back and screams in such a way that it wakes me up to the danger we are all in.
Now, tanks are rolling through, killing animals in their path. I run back towards the soldiers and find only one who has somehow made it up the cliff. I tell him of the coming attack and tell him we must get all the soldiers to the fighter jets nearby to fight back. He tells me that the others are gone and won't fight. I insist that we must fight and tell him that I will try to fly the plane. (I realize I may die trying to get the airplane off the ground but I'm willing to do anything now to fight back).

All combats are the expression of a conflict of some sort. A great many
fights, dances and simulacra are rites, or the vestiges of rites, which express
situations of conflict. In Sweden, according to Eliade, combats are enacted on
horseback by two sets of riders personifying winter and summer. Usener ascribed
a similar meaning to the combat between Xanthos and Melanthos—the fair one
and the dark one. On the other hand, the struggle may correspond to the primordial, cosmogonic sacrifice, such as the sacrifice of Tiamat (or Tiawath) by Marduk.
Struggles between the gods of vegetation and of drought (such as Osiris and Set)
or between good and evil (Ahuramazda and Ahriman or Angramainyu, for example) modify the plane of conflict accordingly. Broadly speaking, the struggle is
that of generation or involves antithetically opposed elements (17). For our part,
we would suggest that the combats of Roman gladiators reflected an ancestral,
mythic and symbolic background with the retiarius (or net-fighter) as the counterpart of Neptune and Pisces (symbolic of the celestial ocean, and the all-embracing god armed with the trident, as a sign of triple power, and with the net);
likewise, the mirmillo was Cancer (the sun, or the son armed with a sword).
To dream that you engage in a fight, denotes that you will have unpleasant encounters with your business opponents, and law suits threaten you.

To dream that you see two men fighting with pistols, denotes many worries and perplexities, while no real loss is involved in the dream, yet but small profit is predicted and some unpleasantness is denoted.
To dream that you are on your way home and negroes attack you with razors, you will be disappointed in your business, you will be much vexed with servants, and home associations will be unpleasant.
To dream that you are fighting negroes, you will be annoyed by them or by some one of low character.

To dream you are an alien, denotes abiding friendships.
Dreaming of being an Alien, shows that there is an aspect of your personality that nobody have discovered yet. Maybe you do not know it yourself, and you will be surprised by your own abilities. It also shows that you are a person with lots of imagination and creativity, you try to find innovative solutions to all kinds of worries. When you dream that you are surrounded by aliens is an indication that you might be finding some difficulties ajusting to a new environment, new people or a new job. By dreaming that you are being abducted by aliens, and if you find that experience to be exciting and positive, it means that you are trying ot escape the harsh reality by finding some "out of this world" solutions, to very down to earth problems. You are a very sensitive person, full of dreams and hopes, but life has not been always easy for you. If you feel frightened and threatened by aliens who have abducted you, it means that you feel greatly threatened to lose your familiar inner circle, your family, friends and home.
Occasionally, people will have dreams about UFO's and aliens. What these dreams symbolise, collectively or individually is difficult to explain and understand. Meeting and talking to aliens may suggests that significant changes are coming into your life and, at the moment, things feel strange and foreign to you. If you dream that you are the alien, it suggests that you may feel detached from some parts of yourself and from others. You may be a stranger in your immediate surroundings, and some self-evaluation and familiarisation is suggested.

You may also be facing with difficult changes in your waking life. Dreaming of an attack provides a way for you to confront these situations that you may be avoiding in real life.
To dream that you are being attacked by an animal, is a warning to be careful with those around you. Take notice of who you know in your waking life that shares and exhibits the same qualities of the animal that attacked you in your dream.
To dream that you kill an attacking animal, suggests that you are going against your instincts or gut feeling.
Always be careful for a period of time (several weeks) after such a dream because it is a warning. If the attacker in your dream is an animal, watch out for that type of a animal, but also notice how some people act like animals. If you dream that you have attacked someone, that is also a warning that your ill mood or temper fits may cause you to harm another and bring chaos down on your head. If you are attacked by someone you know you may have to withstand an attack on your character and defend your honor, so to speak. If you are attacked by an animal be very careful of walking the dark streets or putting your self in the places where you could possibly be attacked by a mugger, etc.. If you dream that you repel your attacker then you will meet with success in your current endeavor, and if you kill an attacking animal then will your life will be saved by a stranger.
To understand your dream, consider all of its details and think about whether you are the attacker or the victim. If you are being attacked, then maybe you are feeling somewhat vulnerable in some area of your daily life. If you are doing the attacking, it may be that you are releasing some of your frustrations and anger while expressing negative feelings in such ways that you are unable to do in daily life.
Theories of evolutionary biology say that dreams of being attacked, whether by another person or by an animal, are designed to teach you how to defend yourself if you are attacked in waking life.
Like the chain, it is a general symbol for binding and connexion.
Knotted cord, in Egyptian hieroglyphics, signifies a man’s name. Since the knot is
a symbol for the individual’s existence, there are various hieroglyphic signs related to the name of a person in the shape of a knot or a bow or a belt or a crown
and so on. The seal has the same significance (19). The silver cord in Vedic
teaching has a significance which goes still deeper: it expresses the sacred, inner path which binds the outer consciousness of man (his intellect) with his spiritual
essence (the ‘centre’ or ‘silver palace’) (38).
Seeing ropes in your dream, represents some connection or a way to tie/hold things together. Dreaming that you are walking on a rope indicates that you will engage in a doubtful investment but it will prove to be successful. Symbolically, death represents the end of an epoch, particularly when
it takes the form of sacrifice or the desire for self-destruction in the face of
unendurable tension (as with Romeo and Juliet, or Tristan and Isolde). The hero
dies young for this same reason: Siegfried, Achilles or Balder for example. The
public necessity for a sacrifice of this kind was what lay behind the ‘ritual
assassination of the king’ in which the possibility of his survival was sometimes
left open, should he prove victor in combat. As an example of this rite, Frazer
cites a festival called ‘The Great Sacrifice’ in which the king of Calicut was made
to hazard his crown and his life. It took place every twelve years, at the time the
planet Jupiter turns back towards the constellation of Cancer, since there was a
supposed relationship between the planet and the king’s destiny (21).
To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what you like about them. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, the dream indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life anymore. In particular, to dream about the death of your parents, indicates that you are undergoing a significant change in your waking life. Your relationship with your parents has evolved into a new realm.
To dream that you are faking your own death, suggests that you are looking for a new start. You need some change in your life.
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or your life. You are undergoing a transitional phase and are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Although such a dream may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm as it is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.
On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation. You are desperately trying to escape from the demands of your daily life.
To see someone dying in your dream, signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Alternatively, you may want to repress that aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person.
To dream of seeing any of your people dead, warns you of coming dissolution or sorrow. Disappointments always follow dreams of this nature.
To hear of any friend or relative being dead, you will soon have bad news from some of them.
Dreams relating to death or dying, unless they are due to spiritual causes, are misleading and very confusing to the novice in dream lore when he attempts to interpret them. A man who thinks intensely fills his aura with thought or subjective images active with the passions that gave them birth; by thinking and acting on other lines, he may supplant these images with others possessed of a different form and nature. In his dreams he may see these images dying, dead or their burial, and mistake them for friends or enemies. In this way he may, while asleep, see himself or a relative die, when in reality he has been warned that some good thought or deed is to be supplanted by an evil one. To illustrate: If it is a dear friend or relative whom he sees in the agony of death, he is warned against immoral or other improper thought and action, but if it is an enemy or some repulsive object dismantled in death, he may overcome his evil ways and thus give himself or friends cause for joy. Often the end or beginning of suspense or trials are foretold by dreams of this nature. They also frequently occur when the dreamer is controlled by imaginary states of evil or good. A man in that state is not himself, but is what the dominating influences make him. He may be warned of approaching conditions or his extrication from the same. In our dreams we are closer to our real self than in waking life. The hideous or pleasing incidents seen and heard about us in our dreams are all of our own making, they reflect the true state of our soul and body, and we cannot flee from them unless we drive them out of our being by the use of good thoughts and deeds, by the power of the spirit within us.
This indicates long life. But a sick person dreaming of death has the positive results.

Dreaming about death is very common and it can be interpreted in many different ways. Death is usually a symbol of some type of closure or end. It implies an end to one thing and a beginning of another. Death dreams usually have positive symbolism. If you are the dead person in your dream, it could imply that you would like to leave all of your worries and struggles behind and begin anew. Dreaming about someone that you care about may express your fear about losing them. Dreaming that one of your parents died may express fear of loss, but it also may be an unconscious valve through which you release anger and other negative feelings. In some cultures dreaming about death and dying is a very good omen that represents longevity and prosperity.

In the Zohar, the ‘magic head’ stands for astral light (9); in mediaeval art
it is a symbol for the mind (46) and for the spiritual life, which explains the
frequency with which it appeared in decorative art. On the other hand, Plato in
Timaeus asserts that ‘the human head is the image of the world’. In corroboration
of this, Leblant points out that the skull, the semi-spherical crown of the human
body, signifies the heavens. Clearly, the head-symbol here coalesces with that of
the sphere as a symbol of Oneness. It had the same significance in Egyptian
hieroglyphics (19). The eagle’s head has been used as a solar symbol and an
emblem of the centre-point of emanation—that is, of the cosmic flame and the
spiritual fire of the universe (4). Two, three or four heads shown in juxtaposition
symbolize a corresponding intensification of a given aspect of head-symbolism.
Thus, the Gemini, a symbol of the duality of Nature, or of the integrating (but not
unifying) link between the two principles of creation, are represented by beings
with two heads or two faces, like the Roman Janus for example. Hecate is depicted with three heads—she is called triform for this reason—a symbolism
which may be related to the ‘three levels’ of heaven, earth and hell, as well as to
Diel’s three ‘urges of life’ (15). The juxtaposition of four heads or faces, as in the
image of Brahma the Supreme Lord, stems from the same symbolism as that of
the tetramorph (60). A factor of major importance bearing upon the symbolism of
the head is mentioned by Herbert Kühn, in his L’Ascension de l’humanité (Paris,
1958). He makes the point that the decapitation of corpses in prehistoric times
marked Man’s discovery of the independence of the spiritual principle, residing
in the head, as opposed to the vital principle represented by the body as a whole.
Kühn adds that Neolithic thought was very close to the mediaeval in its conviction that an eternal and invisible essence underlies all appearances (Plate XV).
