Last night was a completely trippy one.
I was at some kind of summer camp. There were kids who had obviously just graduated junior high school, some from high school, and there were a few fresh out of college. I was wondering what I was doing there since I'm well out of University, I assumed I was a camp counselor. It did cross my mind that about a week ago I had a yucky dream where I found a training camp, that was for sex slaves.
But this had a sweet happy vibe about it.
My mother was standing to my left. She asked me which boys there I found attractive. I was looking around, but there were none my age. She pointed out one, who was standing my his three other identical brothers. All four had dark red hair, white and really freckled skin, bright blue eyes, and were maybe young high school graduates. Like they'd skipped a grade or two. Three were quite pudgy, and they had poor posture. I told my mom that I could appreciate the hair and eye color, and love freckles, but I couldn't even think of a boy that young. And besides, they were like little muffins, and people with poor posture were obviously neurotic. She laughed.
Just then my boyfriend came up to us. He said that he'd found where we were going to stay. I asked him to take us there. My mom left us. He walked me over to a large apartment-like building. We went in, and there were about five rooms with twelve bunk beds in each. The floors had little stones, as if we were in a garden. There was no other furniture. He took me to a back room. That one was really nice. There was an indoor poor and jacuzzi with a bar. The kitchen was big and beautiful. Our bedroom had one completely glass wall looking out to a private garden. No furniture besides a big bed. I approved, however, I was wondering about the other rooms, since I don't really like to live around so many people. It occurred to me, that we must definitely be camp counselors.
We left our things, and went outside for a walk. Here's where it gets weird. We were strolling through a beautiful wetland with lots of waterbirds, and wooden walkways. We went into a clearing with lovely grass and about twenty really huge teepees. We stood for a moment, taking in the scene. Just then, we heard something weird, and there were a group of trees to our right, and they all uprooted themselves and ran, giggling, over to the teepee we were standing in front of. They jumped inside, head first, through the opening. We looked at each other, and my boyfriend started to laugh. Obviously thinking, WTF? All of their roots were lying in front of us, twisting and tickling each other. I climbed into the opening of the teepee, and the trees were whispering to each other, and giggling about something, but I didn't understand tree, so I just giggled too for a moment, and then climbed out. We walked a little further into the teepee gathering, and just then we heard something really strange.
We both looked up and saw three mosquitos floating in the trees. The big ones with really long legs. They were about six feet tall. There was a male in the middle, with two females. They were discussing whether or not they should announce to everyone that they were having a three way relationship. The lady mosquito on the left was feeling like it really wasn't anyone's business, and they should just enjoy their love, and leave everyone else out of it. The one on the right felt that everyone was going to find out soon anyway, so in order to avoid confusion and social stigma, they should tell everyone. The male mosquito told his ladies that they would have to decide what they were both comfortable with, and he would agree with whatever they felt was right. Then he would handle the announcement.
My boyfriend looked at me, and we both cracked up laughing. Then I woke up.
