Three times, I sink

Three days in a row now I've been having trouble sleeping, and when I do sleep it's fitful and full of water dreams. The first night I remember boarding a ship I knew for some reason, with people I knew, but have really never seen before. We were leaving in a hurry, and I was a little confused as to why. I told one of the people that I needed to use the bathroom before we left, and I felt more comfortable doing that on land. They warned me that I had little time, to hurry. So I floated slowly up the landing, and into a building, and into a public restroom. There were many women and children in there. Everyone was rushing. I floated into a stall, and I needed to pee urgently. But as I looked at the toilet, and tried to land, I noticed that it went from being clean and safe to being dirty and scary. I thought for a moment that at least I was floating and if I was careful about things, I may be able to take aim and not make a mess. But I realized the folly of that, and floated out. I woke up, dying to pee, stumbled over to the bathroom and did so. Then I stumbled back to bed, still really half asleep and dreamt I was standing in front of the boat again, on the dock. One of the crew shouted at me to get on, and I did. Minutes later we were at sea and a huge wave knocked the boat over and we sunk. This all happened at night.

The next day I just remember being on a ship, much larger than the first one. I was speaking with someone, about something I can't remember when I looked out the window at a calm sea. I stepped closer to take in the view, and saw a giant wave coming at us, out of nowhere. I laughed, remembering the dream the night before, just as the wave hit and turned the ship over, sinking us.

Then last night I was in the house I grew up in. My cat was having fun climbing out the window and onto the balcony. I was playing hide and seek with him when I noticed that the harbor looked strange. It was as if it had flooded, and then receded. My backyard was not like it normally was. Where there had been gardens and cemented levels of deck area, were now rubble and sand. The boat dock was further out, and our boat was still there. The neighbors were fussing on their own boat, and I was concerned that they were going to hit our boat. I called out to my father, who seemed to be in the bathroom behind me. I told him there was something really wrong. He said he was busy. As I looked out the window again, the waters came in and over the yard, too near to the house.

I grabbed my cat, and floated out the window and down to what used to be the yard. I put him down on the sand and asked the neighbors to calm down with what they were doing please. I began to look around at the ground, finding weird little toys that had been on the bottom of the harbor. I picked one up and it was a star, made of plastic. It had mechanical parts, and when I pulled on it, it became a merkaba. It was yellow. I put it back down and went to the dock. As I stood on the boat dock, the waters went up and down twice again, and I thought it was strangely like watching the tide come in, except in time lapse film. The light never changed, so I knew it wasn't the tide. As I stood there, the waters came up over the boat dock and were rising up my legs. I started to get very worried because that kind of water movement was really impossible. I even contemplated a little that I remembered the last two nights, and must be having repressed emotional issues, to be having all these odd water dreams. As I wondered what those must be, I woke up.
