Radiolab & New Years Collaboratory w/ the Funginears

First I dreamed that I was in the audience for the taping of an episode of WNYC's Radiolab, my favorite podcast. I met Jad the co-host. Don't remember what the show was about though...

Then it was New Years and Michaela and I had decided to do seperate things and see if we ran into each other. First I was at a hip hop party with the Blue Scholars which was pretty cool but not really doing it for me. Then I went to this random place and first I saw Shaleaf, then I saw a bunch of crew and Michaela was there which made me really happy to randomly run into her, like spirit had meant for us to find each other that night. She was dressed in this beautiful white dress with no shoulder straps, so her whole neck and shoulders were bare. The torso of the dress was tight white sattin and then the bottom was white tutu material, is it called crinolin? Something like that.

Kyrian was performing with a whole crew. It was a Funginears show but there was no puppet stage. Mark and Anahata were performing with him and some other folks. As soon as he saw me he invited me onto the mic and I spit an amazing freestyle with my eyes closed about all sorts of silly and deep stuff. I opened my eyes to see Michaela right in front of me and it almost messed up my flow, so then I closed my eyes again.

The club had very red lighting and everything was sorta red and warm and womb-like.
