The “Cyrenian” comes from the south , the southern hemisphere. The 'sur' that leaves its mark. No traces of sun and sea but that permanent sign that affects the heart , his devoted silent guardian.

The world throws up what can not digest or what for some inexplicable reason fails, it goes bad and becomes useless. Swelling in excess of a body already obese. The Cyrenian works that inorganic mush from six to fourteen. Everyday.

Il cireneo viene dal sud, il sud del mondo. Il sur che lascia il segno. Non tracce di sole e di mare ma quel marchio permanente che ti lascia nel cuore, suo devoto custode silente.
Il cireneo ora lavora con la rottezza. Il santuario della rottamazione si trova in periferia nella striscia industriale a est della città. Lì approda di tutto e salpa di tutto.
Materiale inerte, estinto, scartato. Raccolta e selezione di resti da riutilizzare ed il corrispettivo commercio. Traffico di organi per un ultimo trapianto.
Lui si occupa dello smistamento. Dissociazione degli elementi, da agglomerati complessi a semplici unità da riciclare. Lamiera con lamiera, plastica con plastica, i monitor accatastati sulla collinetta dei monitor.
Verranno in seguito smembrati per diventare di nuovo cavi di rame, piastre di stagno e piombo, lastre di vetro, barattoli di resina, gomme e infine motherboard assemblate in Cina. C’è poi il settore automezzi affollato di lamine metalliche, targhe torte, cruscotti, maniglie, autoradio, batterie da resettare ed infine i metalli più nobili divisi nei loro recipienti di plastica bianca.
Il mondo vomita ciò che non può digerire o ciò che per una misteriosa ragione si guasta, va a male e diventa inutile. Rigonfiamento in eccesso d’un corpo già obeso. Il cireneo lavora quella poltiglia inorganica dalle sei alle quattordici. Tuttigiorni.
