Last night I had a dream that I was going to the movies with my boyfriend, a couple of his friends, and my friends Kayla and Cait. After we arrived at the movie theater, paid for our tickets and went through the lobby to the metal detectors? [this was strange, it reminded me much of an airport, different metal detector booths for people to walk through, with a movie theater employee holding a metal hand held metal detector baton on the other side. Once we all got through that, we started heading towards the movie we were there to see. Last second, I remember I forgot my book bag in the lobby of the movie theater, where we paid to get our tickets [oh no!]. I inform everyone and let them know I will be right back. Once I get to the lobby, I begin looking for my backpack when I run into my friend Jacob out of no where. We're all "haaaaayhaay! woooo! yaay!". We both notice this random tray piled with fresh chicken tenders and french fries, just sitting on a table! The chicken tenders were shaped like letters and dinosaurs. We couldn't possibly let all this food go to waste; so we begin to chow down. After chowing I try to go through the metal detectors and a movie theater employee informs me I cannot bring my book bag into the theater with me. I say "Crap!", immediately remembering that I do not have the car keys with me, they are with Ryan on the other side of the metal detectors in the theater. I ask Jacob to watch my back pack so I can go get the car keys and he obliged. At this point a whole new crowd of people have shown up to the movie theater and there are lines for each of the metal detectors. After waiting a minute it's finally my turn. I walk through and the metal detector alarm starts freaking out. The employee on the other side starts scanning me with their baton and tells me to walk through again. I never removed any of my metal (I told them it must be my earrings/piercings setting it off), so the alarm goes off again. The people behind me in line are starting to get agitated. The guy behind me starts to just walk through the metal detector while the theater employee's scanning me with her baton [again], and it doesn't stop beeping. She yells something to a guy sitting off to the side, kind of higher up (it looked like he was in charge of monitoring all the detectors), and he starts to laugh. The man tells me I set off the alarm so many times now that in order to get through I must do the "Shamu Dance". He tells everyone else waiting in line to join in on making their "Hands looks like L's" and to kind of wave/bounce from side to side. So we all do the "Shamu Dance" and they finally let me through. I find the theater my boyfriend and friends are in and just as I'm about to head in I see my brother come walking out! He is in the Navy, and not home very often, so this was a pleasant surprise. I give him a big hug and chat for a second, and start making my way in the theater to get the car keys. This is when my dream ended, but wow. Good stuff!!!
