we were discussing spacetime
in a place that was between 'the past' and 'the future'
not the us with our lives
it was me because you were there
i said "the human story is eternal, always looping"
we felt it together in 'the now', the now without us
i tried to cite an example, a story of visiting doctors
me - "How many times does it take for you to remember?"
This immediately ported me to 'the me' as I experienced my memory of the dentist shining lights from above. I woke and you whispered "I ... don't ... know". Stunned now, my heart racing. Should I wake she and ask? What if it's real? Can this be happening? With some effort I woke you and asked if you were dreaming of me. Since you were partly under, you didn't know.
Of all the places I've been, this was closest to 'the tao'.
