I was in the mountains attending classes as this really oddball art school. The building was like a big cabin, built out of redwoods and stained glass windows and looked rickety, like it was held together by magic or something. There were lots of balconies built off it at random angles and with little or no support.
I was outside sitting at a picnic table with a stack of painting that I was working on. Also had a sketch book with all these drawings of a girl, looked like Alex Grey-esque with lots of psychedelic colors and lines connecting it all. There was a teacher giving massage lessons and tips to the people outside. There were only a few of us, the only person that I really remember interacting with was this Girl. She had a sketchbook identical to mine. We talked or it seemed that we had met previously, perhaps in another dream (?) I really wanted to get to know her, for some reason she was very intriguing to me. She was kinda snobby at first. She was taking notes on massage while I was drawing her but pretending to take notes as well. After the class was over, I went inside the school and wandered about it. Like dream buildings tend to do, it expanded once I was inside and seemed more like a cathedral, with giant stone spiral stairways and stained glass everywhere. It was very beautiful and calm. Felt at peace there.
Went back outside and sat back down at the same picnic bench. I noticed that there were two pages from the Mystery Girl's notebook on the ground so I picked them up. I set up my paints and was working on painting when she walked by. She saw my notebook and mistook it for her own and accused me of stealing her notes. I told her that I had hers but the ones she was trying to take were mine. They were sketches of the painting I was working on and I told her to look at them. She scoffed and walked off without looking. I continued painting and she came back by after a bit. She sat down and watched me paint for a while. I smiled at her, happy because she was finally being chill and I felt that we could connect now. I gave her back the notes that had blown out of her notebook and she gave me back my sketches. She asked to look at my paintings and I was stoked, gave her the story behind all of the paintings and talked about them with her.
As we were looking at one in particular, I was enchanted by it. It was a waterfall scene, with three waterfalls and a pool, and a fern covered canyon off to the side. It was so beautiful that I held it up and walked into it, and walked around the canyon to sit in the sun. Everything about it was so peaceful and serene that I felt like I never wanted to leave.
Woke up with a smile on my face and saw my love sleeping with a smile on his face as well. Happy thoughts and happy love all around me
