Dreamed that a group of people and I were all going skydiving and not for the first time. I had some sweet combat boots on and was in a convince store filling a shirt up with various munchies with a girl who was half roxy and half daniella. We were the first two to cross the huge field where the plane was parked. We are halfway across the field when we both see a huge silver backed grizzly. The bear sees us and starts coming towards us. I tell the girl to throw her bag of food as far away from us as she can but she just drops it and starts running. Im like, fuck, so I throw my bad of food towards the bear and go running after her. I catch up to her with no problem and tell her to stop running and ball up! She doesnt listen so I trip her and we both go sprawling all in the dirt. I fall ahead of her and curl up in fetus position and tell her to do the same. She is behind me and I cant see anything but we can hear the bear charging towards us. I hear her scream and look back to see her getting flung around a little bit-but apparently the bear clawed at her back ripping off a huge flap of skin and muscle and she is bleeding pretty bad. Looking like a fillet of human. The bear sniffs at me and claws at my legs. My combat boots save me from its sharp claws and I am not hurt. I tell her to wait very quietly and look around..the bear is right above me but looks at me and starts walking towards the food bags behind us. I get up and help her to her feet, rip of my shirt and wrap it around her body to hold the muscle together. We walk a long long way back to the store and center where everyone is and i try to carry her but with my bad arm I cannot bear her weight. We get back to the center and she is really faint, fading in and out of consciousness. Im practically carrying her by the time we get there. There is a nascar race happening and I stumble into the race track and to the bleachers and start screaming 'medical! we need it over here!'
Three blue cars zip over and the get her and start asking me a bunch of questions, to see if I am ok or in shock or anything. We put her in an ambulance and then I dont see her anymore and everyone is crowding around me asking me what happened. I am topless and covered in her blood and feel so overwhelmed I start to cry...we never got to go skydiving, and we never got to fly.
