I was in a long dream about something again. Talking to someone or whatever. And it's so frustrating that I can't remember what was happening.
Maybe I was talking to the undead guy. He looked mean, like he wanted to eat me.

There was a shark that swam toward a body in the water and took a giant bite out of it. I wondered why the shark didn't eat more, but I figured that that was the way it had to eat. It had to go get a bite and leave the body and then go back for more when it was ready. And hopefully there would still be flesh left before the other sharks got to it. I remember the closeness of the sharkskin and the blackness of the eyes blinking as they swam by - although i don't think that sharks blink...do they? no.

Frazer describes the numerous cases in which giant figures in wood or wickerwork were set fire to during midsummer festivals, comparable with the Valencian
fallas (or bonfires). The ancients would fill these figures with animals and even
live men, who were burnt with the effigy. They were considered as representatives of the spirit of vegetation, or of the god sacrificed to the world—which

example of Humbaba, the guardian of the garden of Ishtar in the Gilgamesh epic
(31).
