I was in and out of sleep many times in the last few hours, and everything seemed to be melding together.
I was living in some sort of cliff-side village in Middle East or Mediterranean area. I was involved in some sort of school, as were many other Americans, but it was a mix of many nationalities. There was also some sort of U.S. goverment interaction that allowed us to be there in the first place.
At some point a large-scale international crisis involving religion takes place near our village. For unexplained reasons, the U.S. presence departs, as do many of the U.S. citizens out of fear. Many friends of mine and I stay where we are because we are not full of the religious zeal that is so motivating to all the others. It is clear that a war is beginning, but also clear that is somebody else's war.
