This dream was a few years ago, but I am going to slowly add a few of my significant dreams from the past to this record.
Although a restaurant manager at the time, my dream begins with me cruising on my longboard on the way to school. I am just flying through a non-existent part of Moscow on some sort of boulevard. I am railing and doing all sorts of tricks I normally wouldn't do. As I come around a corner, Bob and Sandy Weisle, old regulars from a restaurant I worked at, are standing on the side of the road. They motion for me to stop and say hi, so I skate over. Sandy asks me where I'm headed, and I say I am going to school. Sandy asks what grade I am in, and I begin to answer that I am in 10th grade and I should be able to graduate from high school soon.
It's at this instant that I realize I must be dreaming because I just know that I already graduated from high school. I decide that I'm done talking to Sandy and take off on my longboard without pushing. I go as fast as I like, at first doing normal skating stuff without doing any pushing, but it soon becomes floating and flying. I make my way around a futuristic and very developed Moscow enjoying my freedom from physics. I see a few people. Some person tries to tell me I need to be at school, unable to process my insistence that it is just a dream. I do not let it bother me as I am only classifying the people within my dream as figments of my imagination, not as actual entities.
For a short moment I am aware of both my dream state and waking reality at the same time, but keeping them separate while remaining lucid was too much to juggle. I wake up still feeling a certain invincibility and excitement.
Although years ago I had many lucid dreams, this is the last time I remember being fully lucid. I am hoping that with increased awareness this can begin to happen more often.
