Walking through my old neighborhood, I ran into american apparel my place of work when I lived in MN. They had left the door open so I went inside... it was closed and the middle of the night. I started looting the store of what I wanted, I was surprised to find that I didnt just take handfulls of everything, all I wanted was a long single layer chiffon gown in red, black, and cream.
As I was walking around the store trying to make sense of my distaste for everything else and why I dont need it a few ex co-workers came in... I thought it was to catch me. but.. they came to loot, because it was the fourth of july and people needed to look amazing to walk down the street.
I left the store, and started walking down the street, I was in highschool in san francisco.. confused.. and not doing my homework. I was yelling at the teacher about how I already graduated, a strong childlike pain came over me, of frustration, and almost as if a toy was ripped out of my hands..

my right shoe kept coming off, it was an old skate board shoe, it reminded me of childhood.. I took off the shoes and my smelly socks and threw them out the window.

As I kept looking back to check on my luggage fireworks started going off, I seemed to be the only person excited about it. I was facing foreword and they were infront of me aswell. They were all normal fireworks except for the husky eye blue ones. Those were my favorite.
