Last night I got exactly what I asked for, a dream with a little more of a plot than just scattered fragments of randomness.
I awoke with the sun, the night of dreaming fresh in mind as if it was still happening...of course I went back to sleep, to continue the adventure.
It began on a beach, where I was watching a competition of sorts. A very playful and elaborate kung-fu judo type fight, that seemed very unbalanced. One person took on so many others, one by one, yet they were all smiles, as if they too knew they were in a dream and this was just a game. I can recall a woman giving this martial art master quite a run for his money, doing flips and spinning about during their battle.
After the excitement had ended I was sitting around on the beach with some of the folks from the event. My friend Lou was there...actually when I first saw him he sunk into the sand and then reappeared in the midst of the scene by way of some sort of drill sucking him out from the sand and into the air...which passed by as normal apparently, for we all went about our business of sorting the video footage of the battle.
The scene shifted, there was a party, a common theme of what slumbering of my life I can recall. The events of the party weren't very clear in mind after a few moments away. I scribbled down before losing the freshness of it that when I arrived at school the next day that someone named Favian had my phone.
At school, I think it was my high school from 15 or so years ago, there was a lot of people rudely bumping into each other. Flashes of the battle came into my minds eye, and all of the sudden I felt totally empowered, as if I was the kung-fu master. Everyone seemed to notice this recognition, and one rather excessively bullyish type brushed past me, I quickly pummeled him with some high-tech lightning fast blows.
The fashion of our fighting being a game stay consistant, he smiled and ran away...I caught him going around a corner, he had a huge smile on his face and said something to me...I rather playfully said "Thats how I roll!" and woke up.
Jotting down a few notes I fell back into sleep. I was at a circus, a ridiculously magical circus. My friend Lou was there again, frustrated at the incompetence of one of the performers he was depending on. I ran up to him, or rather below him as he was suspended in a cement mixing truck next to a tightrope which had many juggling plate spinning acrobatic folks playing about on it. I offered my help and he acknowledged, although it didn't change his grumpiness.
Then I woke up once again.
Quickly the clarity of the dreams faded....I seem to sleep so deep, when I wake up if I am not still half dreaming then my mind fills with thoughts of the days. After a little chanting and 15 minutes of meditation I got out of bed.
Looking forward to see if this trend of clarity of my adventures continues.
