It's my my high school graduation day.
We were all in my elementary school gym finishing our last class forever!
One of the girls i knew (Rhona i believe) came up to and challenged me that i couldn't out run her.
For some reason, i knew that i could so i accept her challenge.
Everyone goes to the edges of the gym to watch.
The middle of the gym has a huge rectangle marked out with steel tubular hand rails. More rectangles are marked out within it, gradually getting smaller and smaller into the center. kind of like it was divided up for lineups at the fair.
We get a few rectangles in and start the race. we are running with our hands on the rail to guide us.
I begin running so fast that i can feel the centrifugal force pulling me, and i'm pulled into the outer rectangles, then my feet are off the ground and i am trying so hard to hold on to the railing and not go flying off.
Suddenly, i'm up near the ceiling, still running as fast as i can go, peeking out the windows and looking on the ledges, still struggling to hold on.
It's sunny out.
I can hear people saying that i out lapped Rhona and that i pretty much won. So i stop and came back down the ground.
I don't stick around to be told i won, i just go straight down into the change rooms where everyone is packing up and getting ready to leave.
I notice i am not winded or anything and i feel great!
The principle is doing a small ceremony over on one side of the co-ed change room, but i don't feel like listening. He is giving out certificates to people i know.
I see Tim and we hug and he tells me he knows we'll always be friends because i'm good energy.
In real life, i see him every once in a while, but we're not close anymore.
I mention it's too bad we don't have our yearbooks, cus other wise everyone could be signing it.
I go upstairs and phone my daddy on a pay phone on the right side of the gym wall. i'm telling him how i won the race and how i was flying, that's how fast i was going!
I am so glad to be graduating and this is the very last day.
