It started at my grandpa's place, where i grew up in Vancouver on main street.
I went outside with a bunch of boxes and blankets and started tanning by laying in the concrete path that leads to the door.
i was on my belly, and the sun felt so nice and warm against my skin.
i had my head snuggled into the blankets and my head was facing the house.
i was aware i looked a bit silly to everyone passing by, but the sun felt so good and it's been a long winter!
Finally I went inside and and Sabi and I decided to go to Shambhala! we had an old ice-cream or courier truck, with the back empty.
She was driving and i was sitting in the passenger side.
When we got there, there were people wanting rides so we were going to shuttle people and their beer to and from their campsites.
We were trying to figure out how much to charge and decided on 10$ per shuttle or two beers since we didn't bring any.
The site was on a school ground, and i had been to this site before in another dream.
But this time they had cut a big clearing to camp in, last time it was full of really thick and ridiculously big tall grass that you couldn't get through.
there were a few big trees in the clearing too, and mountains were in the background.
There were a few others camped in the area so me and sabi decided we should setup our stuff as it had begun to rain and we were getting a bit wet.
we brought armfuls of beer over to our gear and dropped it in the grass and told everyone to help themselves. We started to pick a space to setup in.
While setting up next to another group, a guy came over and he looked familiar. He said we had met at another party in Seattle with my cousin, called Godspeed.
I have been to a party called that in real life, but he was talking about a church retreat, which i also have been to in real life.
i didn't want to talk to him because i knew he was going to try to convert me.
it was starting become nightfall and i remember looking over at a big beautiful rounded tree with no leaves that was either illuminated with a floodlight, or had a flood light in it illuminating the area it was in. i wanted to camp underneath it, but knew it wouldn't provide any protection from the rain.
Mommy and daddy were there too suddenly, and me and sabi's tent was just big enough we could all sleep in there. We moved it under a different tree so the tent wouldn't leak.
Another guy wanted to try to put a baby's crib in our tent, but it wouldn't fit.
The other people we were camped by had a big hall tent setup with picnic tables inside and i was sitting at one of these tables with a stranger sitting on the other side when i woke up.
