This dream was a t0tal triiip! It happened several times in a row, each time the story progressed ever so subtly and I was only aware of a slight feeling of Deja vu.
Its starts downtown, a few years in the future. Theres an important hockey game going on lots of canucks fans going crazy all over the place. Im with Hark but shes different, less innocent, mischievous almost, taking me on a journey into strange new territory. We enter a club. Now this place makes it clear that were actually at least 10 years in the future. people are wearing futurmystic gear and dancing to some strange electro beats. Mostly though they dont dance they stand around drinking and smoking. tall cushioned seating areas line the walls many people are sitting there, totally gone. Although it seems that some of these people are semi-lucid/conscious beings there is a negative undertone to the atmosphere. The drug culture.
Im ushered to a tall lounge chair that looks like a big pee pod. I sit back in it, it curves around me nicely. A girl next to me starts to pack an interesting looking pipe with a sand like substance. I realize my female companion in this dream is actually not Hark, but has taken on a similar appearance. She explains the process: "Toke it until you break through. And REMEMBER to come back!" As I light the pipe and start to inhale she repeats,
"Remember to come back, remember to come back!" I make a mental not of this as everything fades to a brownish black.
Back outside in the midst of crazy hockey fans. This seems familiar, Deja Vu. This way, she says pulling me into a bar. I sit down, smoke, remember to come back...
Entering the club again, this time Im starting to catch on. "What the fuck is going on here?" I demand an explanation. "Welcome to 2019, the lady says." dont quite remember what happens here but somehow I realize that my mom is dead, Ive been going through time-loops and its all the owner of this club's fault. I demand to see the boss. She says im almost there but I cant see the boss until I break through one more time and remember to come back. I do.
Each time I broke through and returned though, I became more and more disconnected from my true self. They take me into a back room I have several security types around me. One last trip before you can enter the boss's office they say. and dont worry you wont have to start over again this time, youll wake up right here and well take you right inside. Just remember to come back. Waking up this time Im not myself at all anymore. Ive turned into a completely different person, Im hardly lucid at all, I barely remember my purpose. they usher me into the boss's room. " So what is it you want from me?" He asks. I slightly recall my mom and ask, "Umm Id like a free dinner for two please." He obliges.
