My dream began right after an avalanche up in the mountains. I was in a car with a few other people and we all survived. I managed to be the only one to escape the car to go get help. I was hopping over big pieces of ice and thick snow, avoiding large cracks and crevices. I was able to make it to solid ground, and I walked down hill through a forest until I reached a ranger station.
Inside, there were about five rangers hanging out. The first guy was at the reception desk, and I told him I was in an avalanche and needed help. He told me to go through the door next to him. So I went through the door and inside were four other rangers, two girls and two guys, all about twenty five or so, and they didn't seem to be very professional. One of the girls was this flirty blonde, and the guys were teasing her that she should take me home or something like that. None of them seemed interested in helping me. They just kept joking around and laughing at each other and at me.
I explained to them what happened and that I needed help, but they didn't really seem to care. As they were laughing they walked me outside to this ranger vehicle, a pick up truck full of gear. I started to go through the gear, taking note of what was available. There were three camping stoves, some rope, sleeping bags, a tarp. I remember I could smell the gas from one of the stoves.
I said that we should go rescue my friends, but they all laughed and joked about how impossible it would be to save them. So I got in the truck and drove off towards my friends, without the help of the rangers, although one ranger did follow me in another vehicle. We got to the avalanche and I realized that I couldn't go any further on the road, because there was a big cliff that had formed in the road and I would have to jump the cliff. The ranger that followed me basically said "you see, there's no way we can help".
I decided from there I would walk up to save my friends, without the help of the rangers.
