I find myself riding my bicycle naked down a hill on the side of oncoming traffic. I imagine all the people in their cars looking at me. The reason I don't have any clothes on has something to do with Michael. He has my car and for some reason he left before I could get dressed or something. I ride down the hill and pull off of the road the first chance I get. It's like a small state park with a campground. I ride my bike over the grass until I get to a campsite down below, and I pull up behind some bushes where I can have some privacy. I am planning on getting dressed because I think I have some clothes with me, but then two woman approach me. They are park attendants and they tell me that I have to pay for a camping permit if I'm going to be at this site. I explain to them that I really just need a few minutes to get dressed. They reluctantly allow me to do this and leave, but while I'm still working on clothing myself they send over a whole family of people to the same campsite, presumably a paying family. I'm rushed and feel exposed.
Two other parts to the dream:
Leslie has hired Natalie to paint her walls for her. I'm still working for Leslie but doing my normal tasks. She is in one of her mean, bitchy moods and asks me, "Why can't you do that kind of work that Natalie's doing?" I don't remember her ever asking me to do it, and so I defensively point this out. Leslie insists that she did ask me and I says that I declined her offer for the work. I sincerely don't remember this, and I try to think of all the reasons why I may have declined - perhaps I didn't want to be responsible for any mistakes I may have made doing such work. Leslie can be extremely harsh about the quality of work that people do for her.
I'm in a room with some friends and someone tells us that a girl we know took ecstasy and hasn't been able to come down for a week. It seems really bad, and then she arrives in the room with some friends that are also all rolling. To me they look like they're just having a good time, but I had expected that they would be pretty bad off. A guy enters the room and I know him from some past shady exchange and I say out loud how much I hate him, then I regret being so loud about my feelings and I just watch him closely. The dream flashes to an image of this man pushing a sofa chair through something that looks like flaming snow (?), just rolling the chair one end over the other on his way to who knows where?
