8/5/11 - Riding M's bike, which is all souped up and really snazzy, and I'm having fun. I'm going up a hill on Cooper Pt. Rd. and having a hard time getting used to the gears because they are the opposite of how my bike is set up.
Me and my friend, who is also biking, arrive at a corner where there is an Indian restaurant we want to check out. We walk into a room that looks like a healing space, then walk out again. A woman calls us back in. When we reenter we see a table, and she is serving food. She starts out by giving up this flat bread, like naan, and hummus to dip it in. There isn't really that much hummus, so I'm sort of scraping it off my plate.
She is actually serving Greek food, but we never get anything beyond the naan. Later my dad is arriving at the restaurant, but it's much bigger now and sort of set up like a buffet. He is being served large quantities of a first course.
Afterward my dad and I are driving away. I remember I left my sunglasses in the bathroom of the restaurant, and I ask him if we will be going back there. He impatiently says he doesn't know, and I drop it. We keep driving, and now there is another guy in the car with us. We're discussing GPS and looking at a map. The guy says he doesn't know why you would go downhill when he sees plenty of uphill all around the map. He and my dad begin planning a run that involves first climbing up a steep ravine, then running downhill for a long time.
