Demons at the door

As a child I often hate nightmares...not just nightmares, but night-terrors. I would often wake up screaming or sometimes in a different position on the bed or some place different from where I fell asleep all together. Sleep walking and talking in my sleep through out the night was a common event. Also randomly becoming slightly lucid in these nightmares was pretty common.. I'd realize it was a dream and could control my actions and thoughts, but couldn't wake up from the dream or control the path the dream went. After years of this going on, I was terrified of going to sleep and had a deep fear of the dark. Which took me quite a long time to get over and sometimes I still get a little spooked by it.

There was always a night light in my life. Otherwise id be impossible for me to sleep, I'd probably spend the entire night tightly locked inside my covers...which seemed to happen a lot anyways. My vision was always soo much more vivid at night and at a young age and for as long as I could remember I could see much more color at night. I didn't think much of the tiny dots of color making clouds of color...I just thought that's what everyone saw. This was my understanding until one night I had a sleep over and was talking about it with the other child and she did not see what I saw. At night I would always get creepy vibes and see lots of shadows that seemed to move so I tried not looking at them.

One night I was playing in my sisters room, I looked out the window to see how late and dark it was outside...already fearing bedtime. When I peeked out the window I found something peeking back at me. I was totally freaked out, it looked like a little monster with huge eyes. It kinda looked like an armadillo but much stranger. I immediately informed my sister who came into the room and looked out the window, but nothing was there. Of coarse she told me it was nothing but my overactive imagination.

Not surprisingly, it was difficult to fall asleep that night. Once I did it was one of those dreams where u wake up from your bed like you are waking up in "waking life". So at first I wasn't aware that I was dreaming until I walked into my living room and some things about it where different. The lighting in the room had little bit of a green tint to it and everything was kind of dark. I realized I was dreaming and was quite terrified. A knock came at the door. I got a huge sense of foreboding and horrible vibes. What ever was on the other side of the door had horrible energy. It made me feel sick and I knew that it was demons and from what they felt like they were even worse then what I saw out my window. I refused to answer the door and was glad that it was locked. They called to me to come and unlock the door and open it to let them in. I sat on the floor in terror I was hoping by sitting on the floor they couldn't look into the tiny painted window that was at the top of the front door and see me if I was on the floor. I didn't want to run into any other room because I was sure one of them would have the curtains open. Shortly after I sat though I was being pulled toward the door by an invisible force. I was laying on the floor with my hands and nails gripping the carpet trying not to get sucked towards the door. I was absolutely petrified and screaming and was trying desperately to wake myself up. Finlay I was shaken awake by my sister for I was screaming at the top of my lungs and had fallen on the floor in my sleep. It was a huge relief to see her face.
