I was recently reminded me of the first time I can recall having a lucid dream as an adult. Four years ago, I believe...Around this time I started having a lot of lucid dreams and dreams within dreams. I had often looked back and tried to figure out why this could be because after this period I stopped dreaming for awhile. I think a little of it has to do with the amount of time I spent sleeping, which was a lot...almost more then I was awake..
I wake up in what is sort of a pool or a fountain only it is huge. I meet two guys, one who has nearly shaved head and one with sandy blondish hair/ light brown hair. There are 3 or for steps that you go up and out of the water to the sidewalk and city. We leave the fountain and walk around this town and at some point are in a building. Inside this building is when I realize I'm dreaming. So strange coming into my consciousness it was as if everything became so clear. I can still vividly remember looking at the bricks in the wall. Once I realize I'm dreaming I tell my two companions that I left the pool with and they are very excited by this fact as well. They tell me I can come there any time I want. I don't remember exactly but after that I think I explored a bit. Now that I've been on dreamcatcher I wonder if these people weren't just dream people and were also lucid dreaming.
I woke up and around 30 minutes I wanted to return back to that place. I went to sleep and surely enough it worked. I was back at this magical place and lucid again. People were dancing around in a field/park area. At some point I joined in and was linked arms with someone swinging around. An old woman in a faded black rob grabbed my arm and told me I didn't belong there. I think I went back to dancing after that. I don't remember much else. This sparked a trend of lucid dreams for me...I wish it was that easy for me these days. I don't lucid dream on purpose anymore it just happens, but when it does it makes me sooooooooo happy!
