The dream starts, I am a little boy in a wheel chair. I see myself pass a series of mirrors aging me... drastically until I am a corpse.. until I am a skeleton. When the transition ends the question is asked why my life wasn't happier. They rewind time on me until I am a little boy again. They show me laughing at a very young age and I feel the emotion of happiness. It was laughter that died.
As the little boy again I am roaming through a gigantic hotel. Scarey creatures keep coming out of the woodwork and a little girl a few years my senior accompanies me. A horrifying thing is coming at us and we start booking it down a long hall way. The hallway ends at an elevator so cliche. The elevator begins to close as soon as we are within a few feet. Both myself and the little girl are prying at the door with our nails and fingers after slamming down the up button. The door opens just in time as we fling ourselves in and are pushing down the close door button. The ghost stops and does not enter the elevator when the doors shut seconds from his entrance.
Once upstairs in a higher level we go into a bedroom. All I can remember thinking is that I must pretend to be dead so that no one bothers me. I do, and I disappear in the sheets.
I am not a little boy any longer, but am in North Carolina with family. We are at a huge concert venue and it is floating, and I have just received a crazy series of concert tickets, one of which was to Aristo my old best friend's band. My friend (loosely) Jake gives me the tickets. Pot becomes legal in NC and my whole family is stoned. I almost fall into abyss but my Dad snatches me up before I do.
