I'm not remembering my dreams right now for some reason, but I wrote a new poem!! It's a love poem. Cheesy, I know. This one came out fully formed in under five minutes, so I definitely give thanks for the creative inspiration after a long period of blockage on the poetry tip.
Read it out loud at my show a few nights ago, and kept making my voice deeper and deeper ever so slightly with each line. One of the white haired ladies in the front row actually nodded off to sleep at the very end. Haha! Awesome. Just what every young writer loves to see when they're on stage.
...
tripped in the hallways deep in my mind
you and i always as we align
your sideways smile so familiar and fine
as we wake in the morning nothing less than divine
in my head i have tasted these treasures so sweet
in my head i am lifted our vibe is unique
bright lights half suspended in the land of sunshine
our curse we have ended patterned poetry in rhyme
and lifetimes upon lifetimes upon lifetimes pass through
as i'm slipping and sliding as i'm closer to you
a hidden door, this smoke and this spirit
illusion's the easy part, so why do you fear it?
we meet there that night as i knew it would be
the softest of kisses they rain down on me
and the places we travel and the distance we fly
has got me reminded of why i love to be alive
no thoughts of our tragedy of years spent apart
there's nothing but magic, and there's nothing but heart
those waves that we rattle sweet spells that we ride
while coming unravelled we travel through time
sights set to future and replays on random
the way that we're flying together in tandem
each day as we circle each day we come close
still late for rehearsal but placebo your dose
live in the mainframe where fearless we meet
we're bred in the cosmos and the cycle complete
beat pattern wavelength i ossilate too
fractals rebirthing revising renewed
one day we orbit and the next near the ground
echoes reverberate they're endless, these sounds
our voices through spacetime our words tales to tell
oh darling i know you i know you so well
my muse he is creeping his magic laid deep
like a boomerang flung skyward he floats back to me
all magic and mystery the towers we climb
to meet back where once again our treasures to find
beloved in bounty i sip from his lips
the taste of these thrills as sudden we trip
and heat flicker lick me we spark and we light
halfway unfolded and a half rested night
our smiles not coded he dances, i watch
karmically balanced, no time has been lost
steady straight captured the moment extends
stretching in spacetime continuum bends
and here in this dream life as we combine
the ultimate adventure the ultimate ride
i'm seeking your safety surround me this way
seeking your solace at the end of the day
seep into the edges the dark cracks you fill
the power of the true source the contact of will
the beauty in knowing you've blessed me like this
the holiness and perfection of a directionless kiss
hours of afternoons as the rain soothes our souls
and there in those places you've always taken hold
my smile always real now and the signs still stay true
that i've wavered on everything, everything but you

Traditional symbols of love always express a duality in which the two
antagonistic elements are, nevertheless, reconciled. Thus, the Indian lingam, the Yang-Yin, or even the Cross, where the upright beam is the world-axis and Chinese
the cross-beam the world of phenomena. They are, in other words, symbols of a
conjunction, or the expression of the ultimate goal of true love: the elimination of
dualism and separation, uniting them in the mystic ‘centre’, the ‘unvarying mean’
of Far Eastern philosophy. The rose, the lotus flower, the heart, the irradiating
point—these are the most frequent symbols of this hidden centre; ‘hidden’ because it does not exist in space, although it is imagined as doing so, but denotes the
state achieved through the elimination of separation. The biological act of love
itself expresses this desire to die in the object of the desire, to dissolve in that
which is already dissolved. According to the Book of Baruch: ‘Erotic desire and
its satisfaction is the key to the origin of the world. Disappointment in love and
the revenge which follows in its wake are the root of all the evil and the selfishness
in this world. The whole of history is the work of love. Beings seek and find one
another; separate and hurt one another; and in the end, comes acute suffering
which leads to renunciation.’ Or to put it another way: Maya as opposed to
Lilith, illusion balanced by the serpent.
To dream of love or being in love, suggests intense feelings carried over from a waking relationship. It refers to your contentment with what you already have and where you are in life. On the other hand, the dream may be compensatory and implies that you may not be getting enough love in your life. We naturally long for the sense to belong and to be accepted.

1. Practices that aim to use paranormal or spiritual means to influence events for selfish purposes, or for the benefit of all humanity. 2. The art of conjuring. The claimed art of altering things either by supernatural means or through knowledge of occult natural laws unknown to science. It is in contrast to science, in that science does not accept anything not subject to either direct or indirect observation, and subject to logical analysis, whereas practitioners of magic claim it is an inexplicable force beyond logic. Magic has been practised in all cultures, and utilizes ways of understanding, experiencing and influencing the world somewhat akin to those offered by religion, though it is sometimes regarded as more focused on achieving results than religious worship. Magic is often viewed with suspicion by the wider community, and is commonly practised in isolation and secrecy. Modern Western magicians generally state magic's primary purpose to be personal spiritual growth, many seeing magic ritual purely in psychological terms as a powerful means of autosuggestion and of contacting the unconscious mind. Modern perspectives on the theory of magic broadly follow two views, which also correspond closely to ancient views. The first sees magic as a result of a universal sympathy within the universe, where if something is done here a result happens somewhere else. The other view sees magic as a collaboration with spirits who cause the effect.
Night is related to the passive principle, the feminine and the unconscious. Hesiod gave it the name of ‘mother of the gods’, for the Greeks believed
that night and darkness preceded the creation of all things (8). Hence, night—like
water—is expressive of fertility, potentiality and germination (17); for it is an
anticipatory state in that, though not yet day, it is the promise of daylight. Within
the tradition of symbology it has the same significance as death and the colour
black.
To have a dream that takes place at night, represents some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. You are being faced with an issue that is not so clear cut. Perhaps, you should put the issues aside so you can clear your head and come back to it later. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth, reflection, and new beginnings.
If you are surrounded by night in your dreams, you may expect unusual oppression and hardships in business. If the night seems to be vanishing, conditions which hitherto seemed unfavorable will now grow bright, and affairs will assume prosperous phases.

In the Zohar, the ‘magic head’ stands for astral light (9); in mediaeval art
it is a symbol for the mind (46) and for the spiritual life, which explains the
frequency with which it appeared in decorative art. On the other hand, Plato in
Timaeus asserts that ‘the human head is the image of the world’. In corroboration
of this, Leblant points out that the skull, the semi-spherical crown of the human
body, signifies the heavens. Clearly, the head-symbol here coalesces with that of
the sphere as a symbol of Oneness. It had the same significance in Egyptian
hieroglyphics (19). The eagle’s head has been used as a solar symbol and an
emblem of the centre-point of emanation—that is, of the cosmic flame and the
spiritual fire of the universe (4). Two, three or four heads shown in juxtaposition
symbolize a corresponding intensification of a given aspect of head-symbolism.
Thus, the Gemini, a symbol of the duality of Nature, or of the integrating (but not
unifying) link between the two principles of creation, are represented by beings
with two heads or two faces, like the Roman Janus for example. Hecate is depicted with three heads—she is called triform for this reason—a symbolism
which may be related to the ‘three levels’ of heaven, earth and hell, as well as to
Diel’s three ‘urges of life’ (15). The juxtaposition of four heads or faces, as in the
image of Brahma the Supreme Lord, stems from the same symbolism as that of
the tetramorph (60). A factor of major importance bearing upon the symbolism of
the head is mentioned by Herbert Kühn, in his L’Ascension de l’humanité (Paris,
1958). He makes the point that the decapitation of corpses in prehistoric times
marked Man’s discovery of the independence of the spiritual principle, residing
in the head, as opposed to the vital principle represented by the body as a whole.
Kühn adds that Neolithic thought was very close to the mediaeval in its conviction that an eternal and invisible essence underlies all appearances (Plate XV).

Rain has a primary and obvious symbolism as a fertilizing agent, and is
related to the general symbolism of life (26) and water. Apart from this, but for
the same reason, it signifies purification, not only because of the value of water as
the ‘universal substance’—as the mediating agent between the non-formal or
gaseous and the formal or solid, an aspect which is common to all symbolic
traditions (29)—but also because of the fact that rainwater falls from heaven (7).
Hence it is also cognate with light. This explains why, in many mythologies, rain
is regarded as a symbol of the ‘spiritual influences’ of heaven descending upon
earth (28). In alchemy, rain symbolizes condensation or albification—further
proof that, for the alchemists, water and light were of the same symbolic family.
To see and hear rain falling, symbolizes forgiveness and grace. Falling rain is also a metaphor for tears, crying and sadness. Alternatively, rain symbolizes fertility and renewal. If you get wet from the rain, then it indicates cleaning from your troubles and problems.

To hear rain tapping on the roof, denotes spiritual ideas coming to fruition in your mind.
This foretells trouble especially when it is heavy and boisterous. Gentle rain is a good
dream indicating happy and calm life.
To be out in a clear shower of rain, denotes that pleasure will be enjoyed with the zest of youth, and prosperity will come to you.
If the rain descends from murky clouds, you will feel alarmed over the graveness of your undertakings.
To see and hear rain approaching, and you escape being wet, you will succeed in your plans, and your designs will mature rapidly.
To be sitting in the house and see through the window a downpour of rain, denotes that you will possess fortune, and passionate love will be requited.

To find yourself regretting some duty unperformed while listening to the rain, denotes that you will seek pleasure at the expense of another's sense of propriety and justice.
To see it rain on others, foretells that you will exclude friends from your confidence.
For a young woman to dream of getting her clothes wet and soiled while out in a rain, denotes that she will entertain some person indiscreetly, and will suffer the suspicions of friends for the unwise yielding to foolish enjoyments.
To see it raining on farm stock, foretells disappointment in business, and unpleasantness in social circles.
Stormy rains are always unfortunate.
Dreaming that you get wet from the rain means that you will soon be cleansed from your troubles and problems. Rain also symbolizes fertility and renewal. It may also symbolize fortune and love. Hearing the tapping of the rain on the roof indicates spiritual ideas and blessings coming to mind. It may also suggests that you will receive much joy from your home life.
Interpretation is contingent on your current circumstances as well as the kind of rain that is falling. Rain naturally cleans, refreshes, and provides life-giving moisture. Depending on the dreamer it could suggest a period of renewal and fertility (reproduction or creativity). However, dark clouds and a heavy downpour indicate feelings of isolation and helplessness. On the other hand, the heavy downpour could represent unconscious materials and emotions attempting to enter the dreamer's conscious mind.
To dream of a certain place in your dream, is telling of your inner state of mind. Consider the feel, the appearance, and the coloring of the place. Also consider your own personal feelings and memories with that particular place.
