I was instantly lucid in last night's dream. I was walking into a large warehouse type building, and as I entered, I said "Time to explore!" to myself, which seems to have recently become my mantra in both real life and the dream sphere. I began to open doors and weave in and out of hallways and rooms. In the first room, a boy sat on a bed. He was young, about ten, but I instantly recognized him as the man I physically assaulted in the town I grew up in. I asked him to show me his scar, and he slowly lifted his toque to show me where he'd been stitched up after my alcohol-fueled crazy fit of anger.
I wanted to back away, but he held my gaze for a long time before covering it up again. Then he smiled at me, and I felt a warmth come over my being. I thought, "He has finally forgiven me."
I opened the door to the next room, and there was my friend and his wife and their two children lying on matts on the floor. I thought it was weird that they were all lying on different mattresses, and I somehow conjured up this giant fluffy mattress for them. It felt like I was weaving with cotton between my hands, but it morphed and stretched in this really cool way. I set it up for them with soft white pillows, and heavy white blankets. They all snuggled onto it, and had their arms around each other. I tried for a moment to climb up into the bed too, but then suddenly felt called to the next room.
I opened the door to the next room and saw tables filled with objects and things for sale.
Was conscious of having found a portal to the megaplex place I keep visiting.
Bargained for some cool stuff.
