Him again. This time I am running down the alleys of downtown Victoria, top speed, running along curbs and sliding in the rain, acting crazy. Jumping off of things. I find a hidden door and open it. Walk down a long brick-lined hallway. At the end of the hallway, it opens into a room with a table and some chairs in it. He is sitting at the table, blowing smoke from his mouth and nostrils. I am drawn to him, in what seems like some sort of magnetic pull. I sense other men in the room, a few of them. He looks just like him as he draws me in, but as I come closer, his face begins to change. He turns into an older version of himself, wrinkled and worn. His hair is grey. Then, he turns into a Chinese man. I am aware of thinking that he is shape-shifting.
I walk to him and sit on his lap. I play with his hair and whisper softly into his ears. He is definitely not being shy. Tells me he wants to tell me a bedtime story. Then slides his hand up my skirt. I am suddenly searching for matches. He has asked for fire, and I'm not able to provide. I tell him I'll get up, but he doesn't want me to leave his lap. I am aware of feeling really safe with him too.
In the next part of the dream, where my recollect becomes hazy, he has given me a piece of paper and wants me to decode a message. I am again searching, this time for a book or something in a secret back room. I keep thinking he has followed me in, and I keep looking back, thinking I see him.
