Me and my band were in a different basement than the one we rehearse in in waking life. It was more of a suburban, finished basement. We had managed to get the old bass player from Coal Chamber, Rayna, to play drums for us.
In waking life we are having a very difficult time landing a good drummer. Maybe this is a sign I need to hunt for a woman.
We were playing music, and then I had to get on the computer to do a bunch of work. The band carried on without me. This is a pretty good interpretation of my life right now, working when I should be playing.
I noticed my phone, the time was wrong. The scene changed and the crowd was different. I asked someone for the time. Their time was wrong. This was really peculiar everyone I asked had a different time, and some people had watches that didn't even work. I figured their must be some kind of electrical interference. I ventured outside into a field, or a park. I saw the clouds were a strange color. I walked around a hill and saw a gigantic mushroom cloud in the distance. Oh shit.
I needed to go get my wife, I knew the roads would be packed so I ran. I ran for miles, there were ashes raining down and getting in my face. Luckily, I was wearing a hoodie, and pulled the hood over my head. I ran and the ashes made the ground look like snow had fallen. I reached my destination but it wasn't my house. It was an elaborate beverly-hills style house with glass walls and white everything. I went inside and there was a woman there that I knew. She was very sci-fi sexy and sophisticated looking. I could tell she was rich and important. She said "Why are you still here? We have to leave!". She led me upstairs to an empty room, there was a translucent plastic opening in the corner of the room. She lifted the lid and we climbed in together. I wrapped my arms around her. It was some kind of underground tunnel, but we slid down it like a waterslide. There were strange blue lights at every coupling of the pipe. Very cool. We traveled for miles this way.
I lost the rest.
