i was waiting in mulitple strangely shaped small and rectangle rooms which had stairs with no railings going around the edges, which seemed to have a bottomless pit in the middle, and it seemed very dangerous...plus it felt cramped in there like in alice in wonderland when she grows to big for the room or something. the walls and stairs were at strange angles, and in one of the rooms i saw this fungineers heart stencil painted white on a blue wall.
scott was also there with me, and we were waiting for an important meeting of some kind. people were sticking their iphones onto a metal wall like magnets, and i accidently grabbed someones iphone 3 when leaving...instead of my beloved iphone 4.
i went back to exchange phones, and suddenly realized that i was with scott on the side of a race car track with formula 1 race cars whipping past us.
Rooms in dreams, much like in waking life, are a way to compartmentalize aspects of our lives. We undertake certain tasks in certain rooms, for instance we sleep in a bedroom, work in an office room and cook in a kitchen.
In dreams different types of rooms represent different aspects of our subconscious, or symbolize thoughts connected with whatever we connect that type of room with in waking life. So, for instance, a kitchen in a dream may represent sustenance, cooking and eating, or even family gatherings - depending on how you use your kitchen in waking life.
Furthermore, the state of the room in your dream can tell you something about the message it is trying to convey, i.e. kitchen dreams may be telling you to eat more or eat less, or eat differently, depending on how it appears in your dream.
Discovering a new room in your dream could represent discovering a new part of your subconscious, a new aspect of yourself that you haven't explored before, an aspect that your subconscious thinks that you should explore.

Climbing may represent an achievement of your ambitions and a movement in a positive direction. Descending may symbolise your doubts or a period following hard work and achievement of a significant goal. Generally, dreaming of ascending a stairway signifies movement in a positive direction while descending is indicative of a negative flow of ideas or actions.
Its significance is diverse, depending upon which of its different characteristics is taken as fundamental. In the Egyptian system of hieroglyphs, the
wall is a determinative sign conveying the idea of ‘rising above the common level’
(19); clearly the predominant sense here is that of its height. A wall enclosing a
space is the ‘wall of lamentations’, symbolic of the sensation of the world as a
‘cavern’—of the doctrine of immanentism or the metaphysical notion of the
impossibility of reaching the outside. It expresses the ideas of impotence, delay,
resistance, or a limiting situation. Now, the wall seen from within as an enclosure
has a secondary implication of protection which, according to its function and the
attitude of the individual, may even be taken as its principal meaning. Psychoanalysts frequently regard it in this light and hence have classified it as a mothersymbol, comparable with the town and the house or home (56). Bayley sums up the two essential features of the wall as follows: Like the house, it is a mystic
symbol representing the feminine element of mankind. This enables us to understand the (otherwise absurd) assertion of the Shulamite in the Song of Songs: ‘I
am a wall’. At the same time, this image has another term of comparison, that of
matter as opposed to spirit (4). It should be noted that the symbolism in the latter
case remains unchanged, since matter corresponds to the passive or feminine
principle, and spirit to the active or masculine.
