i'll just start with the good stuff, from my slowly pieced together dream reality from last night,,, ( i kept waking up last night, which kindof helped sustained the lucidity in a way.
so there i was flying my fairly large (7 foot wing span atleast?) majestic looking, friendly transluncent phoenix ( who happens to be my dead cat dave, whom i had to burry @ the dreamberry studios on mt. elphinstone when he died in his sleep.
( the dreamberry is/was the nesting grounds of http://dreamcatcher.net which some of you may have heard of...) which was few years ago, when he transformed into a large translucent / rainbow phoenix like creature, while i was meditating at his grave that night...http://dreamcatcher.net/jeremiah/308 ) hurtling almost 90 degrees down a canyon of some non earth like heights.
my good friend susan was behind me holding on, and was decided to go bare chested at one point, and we both really seemed to be really enjoying the G-forces and warm starshine, in full Lucidity. susan was yelling in joy when we'd pull some 90degree, terminal velocity drops, then back up again in a lighter than earth gravity.. both of our hair was long and sliver and dangling behind us in strange, chaotic, but ordered entangling patterns ( almost like elvish braids interlocking in an out in the wind).
we could fly / control dave telepathically...which was very very fun to take banked turns, then dives and loops even, where at a certain point in the loop, we'd have to hold on to dave's feathers to avoid floating in mid air which seemed like an surreal eternity. dave was more than willing to let us telepahtically fly him...which made it alot more fun....then when he would take back the controls, he was a master at thrilling us with his own aerodynamic possibilities....dropping us in mid air at some points, and diving steeply down to catch us... 111% trust and adrenalin rushes.
I was trying some smaller 360 loops at first, then hugely radiaced ones, that would turn into high altitude spirals of descent over turquoise rivers below. on one of these spirals i turned around to face susan just as we went into an un-expected, and extetended upswing...which felt like going over a step hill in a car too fast, for a long time it seemed....as dave showed us how powerful and graceful at flying he was., i turned to face susan and before we knew it we were interlocked on the back of my so called "cat" of 13 years previous....no fear of falling besides upwwards at that point.
after a few skyscraper sized spirally loops, i signalled dave ( the phoenix with 8 foot wing span ) to do the loop again, only this time i pulled this anahata shaped, gold and silver glowing trinket out of what seemed my chest... i looked at it for a second and noticed it even had levitating gems ( uniquely cut rubies i think, that were sparkling in theh sunshine ). it was hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that i just yanked this out of my chest at random. i didn't get too much time to look at it, before it was yanked from my hands into susans chest like a powerful maget, and actually blew a wholel right through her heart chakra, where light started pouring out with the windflow. for a second i was slightly concerned about us both having gaping holes in our chests...but quickly got used to the warm breeze passing through us, which united our breathing, along with the synched flo of adrenaline....and just when you think it couldn't get more intense, dave decides to pull another huge 360, and on the downward flo susan starts singing "amazing grace" quite loudly, and beautifully...
it seemed impossible to not be lucid at that point, and i couldn't stop laughing as she sung amazing grace with confidence and precision....while the glowing wholes in us burned brighter like and lava" with stardust flowing everywhich way...when had a long "melding hug" for what seemed like half an hour.... at one point a flock of large white birds flew by in formation, just as it the starset was ending and twilight started to take hold, as our amazing embrace continued like light bleeding into each other and it felt like heaven,,,,with a progressivly spectacular view of the cosmos.
* the last picture is of one of the "cat incarnated" version of dave, and one of my good times with him in that form.

The Egyptians associated the cat with the moon, and it was sacred to the
goddesses Isis and Bast, the latter being the guardian of marriage (57). A secondary symbolism is derived from its colour; the black cat is associated with darkness and death.
To see a cat in your dream, symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. The dream symbol has different significance depending on whether you are a cat lover or not. The cat could indicate that someone is being deceitful or treacherous toward you. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself. If you are afraid of the cat in your dream, then it suggests that you are fearful of the feminine. The dream may be a metaphor for "cattiness" or someone who is "catty" and malicious. If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a loss of independence and lack of autonomy.

Do not be afraid to face the situation. If you see a white cat, then it denotes difficult times.
To dream that a cat killed a spider, suggests that you are expressing your femininity in a seductive and cunning manner rather than in an overtly and almost destructive way.
This is a bad dream. This indicates treachery and fraud. Killing a cat indicates
discovery of enemies.

Cats have both positive and negative connotations. You need to consider all of the details in the dream in order to obtain accurate interpretation. The cat can be a symbol of sexuality, femininity, prosperity and power. A cat is also an independent animal, and in your dream you may be associating yourself or someone else with these characteristics. Usually the dream is telling you about yourself and not others. Historically black cats have been symbols of evil and bad luck. If you are a cat lover and have one as a pet, the symbolism may not apply to your dream. Old, superstition-based dream interpretations say that a cat is a bad omen and that you can expect deceit from those that you trust
Cat Symbolism
As an ancient symbolic Celtic animal, the cat represents the guardian of the Otherworld (or Underworld, depending which texts you read from various regions). Stoic, silent and mysterious, cats fit the bill of Otherworld guardians quite well. They keep the secrets of the Otherworld eternally to themselves, as they gaze with guile upon a world that does not see or understand the depth of their knowledge. However, black cats in Celtic lore were considered evil, and were sacrificed.
In Western tradition, black cats have been associated with witchcraft. This is due to black being associated with supposed perils of the night, and the cat is associated with transformation just as the veil of night shifts our perception of reality.
However, in Ancient Rome the cat was sacred to Diana, the moon goddess. Here the cat was also considered a guardian of homes and a symbol of domestic goodness.
In Muslim lore, the cat is honored for saving Mohammad from an attack by a fierce snake. Here it is believed the “M” marking on the forehead of many tabby cats is the mark of the prophet (”M” for Mohammad).
In Norse legend the cat is depicted drawing the chariot of their fertility goddess, Freyja, and therefore the cat is thought of as a blessing upon newborns and a good omen for those increasing their family ranks.
In ancient Egypt cats were sacred and were even depicted on the head of their lunar goddess, Bastet which was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians. In her honor, cats were even mummified along with mice for them to eat.

Cats themselves are quite resourceful and tend to give us messages of change, flexibility of adaptability. Often, when a cat makes an uncommon appearance in our lives it is a message for us to shake up our habitual routines and make some fresh changes in our lives, as well as be more flexible in our thinking.
Cats can also be quite aloof, and this too is often a message for us to distance ourselves from people or situations. Sometimes the best cure for a problem is to step away from it - the cat inherently realizes this, and we would be wise to recognize this need as well.
Lastly, the cat animal symbolism is about mystery. Unfortunately, its unpredictability has given the cat a bad name in some areas of folk lore, specifically witchcraft. When, in actuality, this is an asset that can be harnessed by us humans.
Sometimes displaying very strange behavior and antics, you can never really pin a cat down. Simply put, the cat animal symbolism is synonymous with creativity and psychic power because of its sometimes unorthodox & “mysterious” behavior. This is also reflected in the Tarot deck as we see the cat in the Queen of Wands card.
The good news is, this mystery is a message to us that we have the power over illusion. Cat animal symbolism reminds us to not fall prey to false beliefs, to not be a fool out of ignorance and derive understanding from our own internal wisdom. The cat beckons us to realize that when we turn within to our own hearts, minds and souls, and trust in ourselves we will always be shown the truth of matters.
The cat is the bearer of secrets. It knows all the old secrets that have been forgotten a long time ago. It moves freely through space and time. Since it maintains silence most of the time, it is difficult to learn the things that it knows. Seeing a cat (or any feline) in your dreams is a hint that there may be secrets within you or others of which you do not know. If the power of the cat is strong in a person, that person will have a very particular kind of perceptiveness. By using reflection, he will recognize the true selves of others along with his own identity. He will also discover the daily ritual of self-deception.
Magic, independence, clever, unpredictable, balance of energies and actions in life, mysteries will unfold in life if a cat has come around. Cat shows how to clarify perceptions which allows new ideas to manifest, encourages mental and emotional agility, aids in being resourceful and stealthy tactics, teaches courage and confidence. Do you need to be more independent? Are you using your resources the best of your ability? Is it time to start a new project? Cat will show how to continue the process of opening your intuition for soul growth.
A mythical bird about the size of an eagle, graced with certain
features of the pheasant. Legend has it that when it saw death draw near, it would
make a nest of sweet-smelling wood and resins, which it would expose to the full
force of the sun’s rays, until it burnt itself to ashes in the flames. Another phoenix
would then arise from the marrow of its bones (8). Turkish tradition gives it the
name of Kerkés, and Persian Simurgh. In every respect it symbolizes periodic
destruction and re-creation (38). Wirth suggests a psychological interpretation of
the fabulous bird as a symbol of the ‘phoenix’ which we all keep within ourselves,
enabling us to live out every moment and to overcome each and every partial
death which we call a ‘dream’ (59) or ‘change’. In China, the phoenix is the emperor of birds and a sun-symbol (5). In the Christian world, it signifies the
triumph of eternal life over death (20). In alchemy, it corresponds to the colour
red, to the regeneration of universal life (57) and to the successful completion of
a process.
To see a phoenix in your dream, symbolizes transformation, immortality and renewal. You are moving toward a new phase in your life. It may also mean that your past continues to haunt you.
Seeing a phoenix in your dream, symbolizes immortality and renewal. It may also mean that your past continues to haunt you.
A phoenix symbolizes rebirth and immortality.
(Various Cultures) In ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology, the phoenix is a mythical bird and associated with the Egyptian sun-god Re and the Greek Phoibos (Apollo). According to the Greeks the bird lives in Arabia, nearby a cool well. Each morning at dawn, it would bathe in the water and sing such a beautiful song, that the sun-god stops his chariot to listen. There exists only one phoenix at the time. When it felt its death approaching (every 500 or 1461 years), it would build a nest of aromatic wood and set it on fire, and was consumed by the flames. When it was burned, a new phoenix sprang forth from the pyre. It then embalmed the ashes of its predecessor in an egg of myrrh and flew with it to Heliopolis ("city of the sun"). There it would deposit the egg on the altar of the sun god. In Egypt is was usually depicted as a heron, but in the classic literature as a peacock, or an eagle. The phoenix symbolizes immortality, resurrection, and life after death. In that aspect it was often placed on sarcophagi. It is associated with the Egyptian Benu, the Garuda of the Hindus, and the Chinese Feng-huang. According to Arabic tradition, the phoenix consumed itself by fire every 500 years, and a new, young phoenix sprang from its ashes. In the mythology of ancient Egypt, the phoenix represented the sun, which dies at night and is reborn in the morning. It is equated with Bennu, the Sun Bird, emblem of Ra. The phoenix of Chinese legend is called Fung-hwang or Fum-hwang and is one of the Four Spiritually Endowed presiding over the destinies of China. It originated from fire (was born in the "Hill of the Sun's Halo") and has its body inscribed with the Five Cardinal Virtues. In Japan it appears as Ho-ho and announces the coming of a new era. Early Christian tradition adopted the phoenix as a symbol of both immortality and resurrection. In both ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology, the phoenix is a fabulously beautiful bird thought to be the servant of God. Ancient Chinese, Sumerian, Assyrian, Egyptian, Incan, and Aztec mythology all tell of this uniquely immortal bird. It lived close to a cool well. It had brilliant gold and reddish-purple feathers, and was as large or larger than an eagle. Each morning at dawn, it would bathe in the water and sing such a beautiful song that the sun god would stop his chariot to listen. There only existed one phoenix at a time, and it was always male. Some writers believed its life cycle was as long as 12,954 years. When it felt it's death approaching, it would build a nest and set it on fire, and jump in to be consumed by flames. When it was burned, a new phoenix sprang forth from the pyre. The long life of the phoenix, and its dramatic rebirth from its own ashes, made it a symbol of immortality and spiritual rebirth.
The point signifies unity, the Origin and the Centre. It also represents
the principles of manifestation and emanation, and hence in some mandalas the
centre is not actually shown but must be imagined by the initiate. There are two
kinds of point to be considered: that which has no magnitude and is symbolic of
creative virtue, and that which—as suggested by Raymond Lull in his Nova
Geometria—has the smallest conceivable or practicable magnitude and is a symbol of the principle of manifestation. Moses of Leon defined the nature of the
original Point as follows: ‘This degree is the sum total of all subsequent mirrors,
that is, of all external aspects related to this one degree. They proceed therefrom
because of the mystery of the point, which is in itself an occult degree emanating
from the mystery of the pure and awe-inspiring ether. The first degree of all is
absolutely occult, that is, not manifest, and cannot be attained’ (25). This explains why the Centre—identical with the mystic point of Moses of Leon—is
usually represented as a hole.
To see something pointed in your dream, represents action, urgency and completion. The dream suggests that you have arrived to a decision or common understanding. Alternatively, the dream may also be a metaphor that there is a point to your dream. Or you need to get your point across.

If he dreams this often it is a sign of increasing prosperity and the fulfilment of desires. If the trees appear barren or dead, there will be obstacles to combat in obtaining desires. He will get along, but his work will bring small results.
For a woman to dream of flying from one city to another, and alighting on church spires, foretells she will have much to contend against in the way of false persuasions and declarations of love. She will be threatened with a disastrous season of ill health, and the death of some one near to her may follow.
For a young woman to dream that she is shot at while flying, denotes enemies will endeavor to restrain her advancement into higher spheres of usefulness and prosperity.

Night is related to the passive principle, the feminine and the unconscious. Hesiod gave it the name of ‘mother of the gods’, for the Greeks believed
that night and darkness preceded the creation of all things (8). Hence, night—like
water—is expressive of fertility, potentiality and germination (17); for it is an
anticipatory state in that, though not yet day, it is the promise of daylight. Within
the tradition of symbology it has the same significance as death and the colour
black.
To have a dream that takes place at night, represents some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. You are being faced with an issue that is not so clear cut. Perhaps, you should put the issues aside so you can clear your head and come back to it later. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth, reflection, and new beginnings.
If you are surrounded by night in your dreams, you may expect unusual oppression and hardships in business. If the night seems to be vanishing, conditions which hitherto seemed unfavorable will now grow bright, and affairs will assume prosperous phases.

To dream of the dead, is usually a dream of warning. If you see and talk
with your father, some unlucky transaction is about to be made by you.
Be careful how you enter into contracts, enemies are around you.
Men and women are warned to look to their reputations after this dream.
To see your mother, warns you to control your inclination to cultivate morbidness and ill will towards your fellow creatures. A brother, or other relatives or friends, denotes that you may be called on for charity or aid within a short time.
To dream of seeing the dead, living and happy, signifies you are letting wrong influences into your life, which will bring material loss if not corrected by the assumption of your own will force.
To dream that you are conversing with a dead relative, and that relative endeavors to extract a promise from you, warns you of coming distress, unless you follow the advice given you. Disastrous consequences could often be averted if minds could grasp the inner workings and sight of the higher or spiritual self. The voice of relatives is only that higher self taking form to approach more distinctly the mind that lives near the material plane. There is so little congeniality between common or material natures that persons should depend upon their own subjectivity for true contentment and pleasure.
[52] Paracelsus says on this subject: ``It may happen that the soul of persons who have died perhaps fifty years ago may appear to us in a dream, and if it speaks to us we should pay special attention to what it says, for such a vision is not an illusion or delusion, and it is possible that a man is as much able to use his reason during the sleep of his body as when the latter is awake; and if in such a case such a soul appears to him and he asks questions, he will then hear that which is true. Through these solicitous souls we may obtain a great deal of knowledge to good or to evil things if we ask them to reveal them to us. Many persons have had such prayers granted to them. Some people that were sick have been informed during their sleep what remedies they should use, and after using the remedies, they became cured, and such things have happened not only to Christians, but also to Jews, Persians, and heathens, to good and to bad persons.''
The writer does not hold that such knowledge is obtained from external or excarnate spirits, but rather through the personal Spirit Glimpses that is in man.—AUTHOR.
