Sleazy Sensei, Stomy Seas...

Geoff and I entered a large gymnasium. The room was a perfect cube, the dimensions were enormous. The walls were a very light gray color. We were each wearing a white Karate Gi with a black belt. There were a few others in the room also dressed in this manner. We were all facing west, seated on the floor. The sensei was a really serious man (or at least took himself VERY seriously) who started demonstrating how he could flip his competitors and using very egotistically flamboyant language to describe his skills. Geoff and I looked at each other inconspicuously and shared a little giggle about this. Soon he was moving down the line of students and flipping all of them. Somehow he never flipped Geoff and I. Later I awoke in a cabin by the sea that had no electricity. It was the middle of the night and I hopped on my bike and rode along the ocean front searching for something, but I don't remember what. I do remember being inadequately dressed for the cold seaside weather. I got off my bike to walk through some mud on a path towards the sea, and then started to walk back towards the cabin, forgetting that I had traveled there by bicycle. I didn't get too far before I went back for my bike, scolding myself for being such an epic space cadet, then scolding myself for scolding myself. My father came to pick me up from the cabin in his van, and Geoff was also in the car. We drove along the seaside as the sun came up. I remember the scenes we passed from childhood... somehow we had vacationed there. Just offshore there was a large rowboat packed with people, and a guide at the helm. the boat was being tossed about and covered by the twenty foot waves in the angry sea. I was frightened for them... will they survive? I got the feeling they were paying for this horrifying experience like it was some sort of tourist attraction to face near death off the shore of the sea. The boat was bouncing at least six feet into the air at the crest of each wave.
