At the foundation of all true magical discipline is the sanctity of silence, wherein our True Will is cultivated, unadulterated by the trappings of egoistic personality.
It is wonderful that Dreamcatcher offers the opportunity for the world community to share our dreams and visions. Many times over I have benefited from the wise insights and symbolic journeys of other dreamers who have allowed me to witness their process. Open conversation on these topics are essential. Together we are Waking Up... and to witness the scope of this communion is inspiring.
We must, however, be skillful and discerning of what, how, why and when we share these jewels of Spirit. I love that Dreamcatcher.net has such precise privacy settings for this very purpose.
It is of utmost importance that we are conscious of not dissipating the precious vitality of our individual Inner Work. The temptation to show off our spiritual leaps and bounds can be strong. To have the affirmation of others is very tangible and can stoke our egos, but offers us little in the way of true transformation, and can actually impede our progress.
Your relationship to your Being (Inner Christ, Spirit...you know the name) is the most important relationship you will ever have. To KEEP SILENT, is a reminder to hold this relationship sacred. It allows us to deeply digest and embrace our experiences so that we can progress on our path. Silence bestows Self-empowerment, and develops the ability to hear the voice of our Soul.
Perhaps the outer world need never know of our particular moment of Divine Interface. We are content to weave it into the secret tapestry of our Inner Temple.
Alternatively, I have heard it suggested that we wait seven days to speak about or share a meaningful dream or insight if it is determined that this can be of benefit to others.
Do be choosy... maybe "everyone" is not the audience for your revelation. Dreamcatcher is soon to release more intricate privacy features that allow you to share with "friends only" and also to create specific groups.
When we receive a deep mystical vision, waiting 28 days--a full moon cycle, has also been suggested. This gives the vision time to "gestate" and ripen inside us, so that we may give birth to it's essence in our lives.
