A seductive young R&B songstress whose career is on the rise, has had a few hit songs and videos. She's become a popular sex-symbol on the music scene.
Her ego is a bit inflated, but hey...she's a diva.
Her stage name is MoniKa, and if you spell that wrong, she'll throw something at your head.
A film crew has traveled to a remote desert area to shoot some footage of a scantily-clad MoniKa challenging a handsome bunch of shirtless men to a game of basketball. They're trying to capture the sex-appeal of seeing an attractive woman being able to "keep up with the boys."
However... MoniKa kinda sucks at B-ball.
The film crew knows they'll have to do a fair bit of cut/paste editing to make her look good this time. The most promising footage they got was MoniKa attempting a 3-pointer and managing to hit the backboard.
She senses they are disappointed in her and begins to throw a pouty fit, taking the ball and walking off into the desert. The other players and the film crew all shake their heads and roll their eyes in exasperation.
Then, one by one, they begin to trudge out into the desert to find her.
MoniKa happens to be familiar with the desert mountain terrain and decides to take a three-day long walkabout on her own.
At this point, I have become part of the search party. We walk up into the mountain foothills and come across a series of hot-spring jacuzzi pools packed with drunken partiers. "Have you seen MoniKa?" one of the searching men asks.
"Ooooooooo, yeaaaaah, MoniKa! Bring her over here" one of the inebriated party folk slurs and grabs his crotch.
We move on, a bit disgusted.
We come upon a castle and I pick up a wooden staff before entering. I am leading this search party now. Suddenly, a young androgynous girl dressed in baggy medieval boys' clothing appears and insists on walking in front of me for protection.
I say "Well, if you're going to do that, please take my staff in case you need to knock anyone out!"
The girl looks over her shoulder at me and smiles. She doesn't need my little stick.
Climbing what seems like miles of stairs, we find an old kitchen and are both famished. A chef appears and senses our hunger. He is very kind and wants to feed us. He brings out a big steaming pot of polenta with tomato sauce and sauteed veggies.
My alarm goes off, and I wake up... Drats!
That polenta looked tasty.
