Moon: Gibbous Waning
This dream had a familiar tone. It reflected a theme much like my 'Moldy Maggot' dream. It took place in a large bedroom with a King Size bed. This, to my understanding, was my room-mate SunShan's bed.
In waking life, LuLu our furry feline friend, has been in heat and trying to escape the house. It has been a rather annoying ordeal because she is an indoor cat, but lately she's been bolting outside anytime the front door opens. We pray that she doesn't get pregnant or killed by the other crazy neighborhood aristo-cats.
Anyways, in this dream I found LuLu under SunShan's bed with two other cats that she brought home. They were really dirty, but friendly. Then all of a sudden I notice little white bugs jumping all over. It was confusing because the fleas I know in waking life are black, but these were white. (Aside: This slight 'white flea' difference did not act as a Lucid dream clue, and I continued on with the entire dream in a non-lucid state.) All in all, there was a FLEA infestation. It was crazy. When Shan got home we had to figure out what we were going to do.... We were contemplating 'moving' because it was so bad.
Then I had a cream that SunShan's love, Carm, had bought a BEAUTIFUL house in Costa Rica and he was showing us around... It was right on the coast, with a huge beach. It was nearing sunset time; the sun was on FIRE in the sky which really lit up the wood detail in the home.
X&O all you dreamers; we're not the only ones!
Let's free our FLEAS!

This is one of the most valued pieces of furniture. It's where we sleep, rest, restore our minds and bodies and engage in sexual pleasure. The bed is symbolic of all of these things. The bed could also symbolise the bridge between the conscious and the unconscious (i.e. our daily lives and the great unknown, our spirit and our psychological undercurrent). The quality and the cleanliness of the bed in our dreams may say something about the way we feel about ourselves, and our relationships. In reality we "make our own bed," so the dream may reflect that bed and remind us that we have to either change it or lie in it. If there were things hiding under the bed in your dream, it may symbolise secrets that you or others are keeping. If you dream that you are lying in bed, your unconscious may be warning you about potential health problems.

All things that flow and grow were regarded in early religions as a symbol
of life: fire represented the vital craving for nourishment, water was chosen for its
fertilizing powers, plants because of their verdure in spring-time. Now, all—or
very nearly all—symbols of life are also symbolic of death. Media vita in morte
sumus, observed the mediaeval monk, to which modern science has replied La vie
c’est la mort (Claude Bernard). Thus, fire is the destroyer, while water in its
various forms signifies dissolution, as suggested in the Psalms. In legend and
folklore, the Origin of life—or the source of the renewal of the life forces—takes
the form of caves and caverns where wondrous torrents and springs well up (38).
Mystics have always traditionally considered the feminine aspect of
the universe as a chest, a house or a wall, as well as an enclosed garden. Another
symbolic association is that which equates the house (and the above, related
forms) with the repository of all wisdom, that is, tradition itself (4). In architectural symbolism, on the other hand, the house carries not only an overall symbolism but also particular associations attached to each of its component parts.
Nevertheless, the house as a home arouses strong, spontaneous associations with
the human body and human thought (or life, in other words), as has been confirmed empirically by psychoanalysts. Ania Teillard explains this by pointing
out that, in dreams, we employ the image of the house as a representation of the
different layers of the psyche. The outside of the house signifies the outward
appearance of Man: his personality or his mask. The various floors are related to
the vertical and spatial symbols. The roof and upper floor correspond to the head
and the mind, as well as to the conscious exercise of self-control. Similarly, the
basement corresponds to the unconscious and the instincts (just as sewers do, in
symbols pertaining to the city). The kitchen, since this is where foodstuff is
transformed, sometimes signifies the place or the moment of psychic transmutation in the alchemical sense. The intercommunicating rooms speak for themselves. The stairs are the link between the various planes of the psyche, but their
particular significance depends upon whether they are seen as ascending or descending. Finally, there is, as we have said, the association of the house with the
human body, especially regarding its openings, as was well understood by
Artemidorus Daldianus (56).
