Rung in the New Year with a proper intention-setting ordeal. The party was intense in many ways and as I walked home at 6:15, watching the sky lighten behind city-reflective clouds, I was thankful as ever for all that is my life.
When I finally slid between the covers, I was wrapped in comfort and bliss. I plunged into a much-needed sleep and with my arrival on the dream-plane, I was pleased to find that the party continued on!
In the dream, the party was at the new Tattoo Shop. We hadn't quite gotten the whole place set up, but we decided to have people over anyway. We were the stars of the party - John, Justin, and I. Everyone wanted to hug and adore us. We walked around with an air of importance and glamor - but also seriousness. We were at a party, but we were also carefully planning out the inner-workings of the shop. There was so much to figure out at every turn, and so much that needed to be fine-tuned as we went along. We were nowhere near opening, but I think we were just so damn excited, party or no, we were going to be setting up with every minute we had.
Justin felt like my brother and we gave each other high-fives and pats on the back when we successfully trouble-shooted situations. I enjoyed the feeling of camaraderie and forward-motion.
